Damaged i7 5930K Available for Project

Dear LTT Forum,

 

I have an i7 5930K processor that was damaged by heat. Currently only physical core 3 is stable (meaning cores 0-2 and 4-5 must be disabled in order for Windows to load. You may also crash during post while trying to disable the unstable cores.

If anyone is interested in this piece of hardware for a project such as delidding a soldered processor, attempting to correct unstable cores through science (read: voodoo magic), or just need a single core for something; please reach out to me.

I feel like this would be better suited for the classifieds or something.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

Classifieds are usable for free stuff

you can't really move it. I would suggest reading through the guidelines (pinned in qualified) and letting this be removed by a moderator. just report and ask for removal
