Should I buy this PC for $15?

Found it at a thrift store, its a dell optiplex 380 and this is what I believe the specs are

Processors: Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 2.33GHz 4MB CPU

Memory: 2GB DDR3 PC3-10600 1333MHz Memory

Hard Drive: 80GB 7.2K 3Gb/s SATA 3.5" HDD

Video Card: Onboard Video Card

 

It worth buying and reselling or doing anything with? Its so cheap, i feel kinda compelled to go back and buy it.

It really be good for a lot. If you wanted to create a nas or Plex server, that might be okay but there are more efficient options but would be a little more costly. I doubt you would be about to resell that.

Is it an Optiplex SFF system? If its a full width case then yes. The SFF systems have thermal issues and suck overall.

sure, for a NAS server or something like that, get a Core 2 Quad, overclock it to 2.5-3ghz, throw a 4gb stick of ram, and boom now you have a pretty capable system for NASs and web browsing for 30$. And a new PSU. so 50$

As a person who just likes hardware - Id buy that ALL DAY LONG @ $15.  Depends what $15 is valued to you.  I could have hours of fun with that thing.

Most of those you see for cheap on eBay are just people trying to get rid of them, shipping costs more than the machine is worth.

You asked if you could resell it and I told you. I just bought someones PC for $30 bucks, $50 shipped. Soooo its not that hard.
