USED PARTS BUILD! Just got a 980ti & Supernova G2 for $240!

I recently upgraded my personal gaming rig from a i5-7600k & Asus Dual 1060-6gb to a i5-9600k & Gigabyte Aorus Xtreme 1080ti.

 

I have to tell you, the experience has me obsessing with buying used parts. The deals you can find are quite amazing!

 

So, my 7600k & 1060-6gb are going in my old case and being sold to pay for the upgrade. I will have had gotten a great upgrade for practically free!

 

BUT! While browsing classifieds, I found to many great deals that I've decided to start building gaming rigs out of used parts. 

 

This will be the first one! 

 

I've gotten the parts below for $240 - an Asus Strix GTX 980ti graphics card, and an EVGA Supernova G2 650w 80+ Gold power supply.

 

I am also meeting someone tomorrow for 16gb DDR4 RAM for $60 - that's $300 so far!

 

All I need to find then is a solid MoBo & CPU for the foundation - then what do you think I could sell the whole setup for? If say, I find a 7th or 8th gen i5?

ATTN EVERYONE:

 

Trying to look for parts to complete this build I need a CPU, MoBo, Case, SSD.

 

What CPU do you think I should pair it with, that won't bottleneck the GPU?

 

I'm thinking about z170 chipset with the skylake i7-6700k ?

 

Or if I go 7th gen then try to get a i5-7600k or i7-7700k for under $200.

 

I have $300 into the build already, I do not want to exceed $600 total so I can get at least $150 profit out of it.

 

Let me know your thoughts on cpus!
