Neither, because neither have the functionality I need from a phone. Full disclosure: I could deal with iOS, and in fact, I miss my iPad 4 dearly and would love to buy an updated iPad Mini. However, the hardware of iPhones beyond the iPhone 6s just don't cut it for me as I require a headphone jack. (Unless Apple is planning to provide a free stereo upgrade for my car, that is.)

Android user: Why would you spend so much on a phone when you can get the same thing for free. I can have so much more customization on my phone, it’s a complete powerhouse, who would buy outdated Apple garbage lol can’t believe they just put out OLED displays haha can you believe they only have 3GB RAM loool.

do we really think Apple will be putting out a under screen camera this year? the best they could do is some mechanical solution like popup cameras. 

 

because they need to pour a lot of money into LG to make them move from 50% light transparency to at least 80-90%.

 

edit: upon furtherexamination it looks like hole punch, the later question is how many hole punches to fit all the "face id" hardware.

My experiences with the iPhone 6 soured me on iPhones and Apple in general. The first one suffered a battery failure and was replaced. The replacement iPhone suffered a screen malfunction and showed me just how bad Apple's "support"can be when simply supplying a new phone wasn't an option.

 

Their interconnectivity between devices is amazing, but as soon as "it just works" stops applying it just gradually becomes a more and more expensive paperweight.
