Hi.
I would start looking at temperatures. The hardware should be enough for most newer-ish titles at moderate settings.
Also, what framerates are you getting in what games, and at what settings?

CPU: 2x E5620 - GPU: 2x GTX660 - RAM: 64gb DDR3 ECC - Mobo: Z800 OEM - Storage:1TB WD Green - 256gb - Micron C400 250gb - 850 EVO - 512gb 850 PRO
Monitors: 3x HP ZR2440W - Keyboard: G710 MX Blue - Mouse: MX Master

Keep up the good tone and stay classyxD

Yes. Or no. Depending on what you are asking.

You know, I was able to decipher what you were saying up to the last two sentences. I think you are saying this:

Quote

So last month I bought this laptop (link) and the thing is, I saw the specifications and thought it was a good idea to buy. The thing is though, it feels less than optimal. I am not looking to play the newest games, just good ones.

Is this a problem that I can fix or not? Any information about this thing (for gaming)?

not sure on the last two sentences...

So OP, could you confirm I am correct in what I thought you said and could you clarify the last two sentences?

What are your temperatures at? Do you have high performance mode enabled in your power settings? can you check in task manager while playing if your dedicated GPU is at 100%?

Your CPU has a built in GPU (Intel HD Graphics) and you have your dedicated GPU (GTX 1050 Ti).

Check if the latter one is actually being utilized when playing a game. If not, that is your problem.

Sorry, meant GTX 1050. You have two graphs, one shows a powerful dedicated GPU, the other a slower integrated GPU. You want the graph with the dedicated powerful GPU to be at a high percentage; so that is what you should check (check if the dedicated GPU, the GTX 1050 graph, is going up in percentage or if your Intel HD Graphics graph is going up in usage while playing a game).

Got it, so you bought a laptop with an i7-8550U and 1050, but you aren't getting the performance you would expect. Have you run the DDU application and tried to re-install the NVIDIA drivers?
