So i got an 2070 rtx but it has low fps

So i just got a new rtx 2070 because my last gpu was terrible. I was so exited to put the gpu in the pc and play some games. After i launched battlefield v and jumped into a game my fps was at 30-50, thats not the fps i was looking for. So could somebody help me figure out this problem ?

what are the other specs of your pc? could it be bottlenecked?

very likely that the CPU is the problem. as the i5-4440 bottlenecks the GTX 1080 under most scenarios.

Well, i would suggest ryzen but then you would have to get a new mobo so like an 8th gen i5

Can confirm thats a CPU bottleneck issue. I had an i5 4690k that bottlenecked my GTX 1070. You have 2 options to remedy it. A) get yourself an i7 4770 or 4790 or  you have to do a whole platform upgrade with new CPU, Motherboard, and RAM.

I just bought this a few weeks ago to prevent my cpu (i5-4960K ) from bottlenecking my 1080  

AMD - Ryzen 5 2600 3.4 GHz 6-Core Processor $150  (The 2600x isnt worth it you can OC this one and pay alot less)
MSI - B450-A PRO ATX AM4 Motherboard $100 if you dont have ddr4
Then some gskill ram 16gb if you don't want to worry about ram

perhaps pick up an i7-4770 to replace the i5-4440. it shouldn't bottleneck as bad. thats only to avoid upgrading the CPU, MOBO, and RAM.

In order to avoid upgading the motherboard and RAM to something like 6/7th gen (or later) or Ryzen + upgrading your DDR3 to DDR4 memory, you should get something like a i7 4790, i7 4770 or i7 4790K.

If you can't afford it, those are the cheapest options you can get right now so save up for it.

off of ebay or something? you can even take a 4770 out of a used dell optiplex or HP elitedesk or something, and get a nice ram bump in the process too. I've seen some 4770k's on ebay for under $120

An i7 4770 should be around $120 on eBay if you can spare that

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

I was unaware that you have a very low budget i would recommend not getting the AMD like other members are saying 
Due to the cost of the MOBO/RAM adding the price up
