Hey all, I'm sorry that it has taken me so long to push the badges out. Unfortunately I've been quite ill and busy over the Christmas and New Year period and haven't had the time or ability to start assigning them. In fairness to Jason@EOC what happened was Stanford did some "DataBase Maintenance" that included the likely unintended "feature" of Capitalizing a bunch of user's names. Jason had to scramble to stop the whole database getting really messed up.

 

He must be doing some cleanups or having to do some additional processing as I've noticed the DB runs in the evening have gone from 6 - 10 minutes to sometimes almost 21 hours.

I beat him in PPD, which was the challenge, not total points.

Alright BOYYZ!
Did spend all my free time today optimizing my rig

I am now running OCed, Win in save mode but with network and GPU driver and with some lill script I wrote to push the FAH cores priority to "higher than normal". 

Also the display is running of of the integrated GPU, so my GPUS have no other thanks than pure FAH.

 

Performance for anything else is completely tanked now, but the pc will only sit and fold. I am not 100% sure, how much uptime I can do, but should be around 20 days for this system. 

The system makes 710k PPD with 2x290x and i5 4670k

Also i am folding on my MacBook Pro: 56kPPD this runs whenever I work with it. Battery is not a problem, because I use a dock, to use it for a desktop setup most of the time I work with it. But when I am on the go ill pause FAH.

 

On the main rig I also did install a power meter. I will post updates, how much energy I have consumed  and how much I payed for this. Where I live energy is very expensive, but its still worth it to support the team and science wich helps make peoples lives better!

P.S.: One qick note. I am happy about everyone new here on the team contributing to the folding month. The team score absolutely exploded! BUUUUT GUYS: When the month is over please continue your support. Sure I also won't run 24/7 then but please please continue to fold sometimes!

T -2 days - Folding Month 2018

 

Well guys, the time is closing in, The rigs are purring and we have hit 137 sign ups so far. This will be a short post but I just want to thank you all for getting involved so far. You are all amazing, donating your power, time and hardware for a good cause. Together we will work towards a brighter future With more badges where we can more easily fight the diseases of today. Get yours rigs running the best they can and churn out points like you've never churned out before. And, for those that are folding for the first time welcome to the team, we appreciate you getting involved! The team overall have seen yet another spike in production, we are on target to hit a 55million point day today! Great going guys.

I've already started folding on my W4100 tactically as it takes 1.25 days to complete a OpenMM_21 WU and so should submit it's first completed WU shortly after the official start.

 

Remember the official start time is 00:00 Greenwich Mean Time (GMT) which is:

I dont trust google Forms, since they failed on my several times in the past...

 

I know idd did be to much work to check for everyone, wo entered by hand, but a mask or table wold be super neat.
