660 US is just 100 to 140 bucks below GOOD 1080Ti's... the ones that use far less power, you dont have to dick with to get performance and reduce heat. And the fact RTG broke the bios so bad that driver updates can screw up clock speeds just shows what a flaming pile of shit they have out on multiple levels

To me, PowerColor Red Devil is a better card, faster overall and super quiet, on the silent mode Sapphire has same low noise as PowerColor but loses on performance..

@Orangeator no joke I'll have 1/4" of clearance, 1/3" if I'm lucky.

 

Probably wind up using a vertical mount despite not being a fan of the style.

I don't think it'll make that much of a difference, especially since it's probably still on par with a stock card OC'd.

fair, but the ability to more adequately cool the card may lead to people pulling off better OCs

I was looking fw to see MSI stuff but Im pretty happy with what I see from PowerColor Red Devil, same Red and black theme, pretty damn quiet and performs better than Sapphire.

Looks like a winner to me if anyone wants a Vega card.
