About modern case design and thermals

Hilarious intro to the vid but Steve (Gamers Nexus) makes such an important point in this vid. It's so true, designers have compromised a lot of airflow to accomodate modern design must haves such as clean minimalist looks and tempered glass sides. I carried over my 1070 from an older pc in a nzxt Phantom 410 to the newer s340 Elite and my GPU temps are noticably higher, not throttling or anything but they are still much higher, this could be due to a few things but it probably misses the side intake feeding it fresh air the most.

Yes it is but i feel it isn't what they want, it is the buying trends that is fueling this, everyone wants glass and minimalist design.

I don't like the tempered glass trend anyways. I only like the RGB.

But it's not as good as tempered glass

And yes you could also just not use side panel, so that way you can see how is dust taking it's place over your RGB components.

Well, not like RGB on PC parts, but on peripherals and shit. I also love underglow.

It's better if you want to spend less money and reduce the likelihood of breaking an entire side of your chassis (or the whole thing if you have a full glass case from Corsair or Phanteks).
