What would be your dream car?

Gaurav S Rao

My dream vehicle is a Tardis. The other stuff is less dreamy and more "that would be nice."

For cars that exist, a Tesla model S (fully spec'd out). For cars that don't exist, a better model S.

"Do as I say, not as I do."

If I wanted to go crazy I'd go for something along the lines of 1000bhp, adaptive air suspension, transplant of a newer b7 interior, updated led lights... You get the point.

A car that is so boring that no one would stole it.

But it is functional, it runs good.

If it is not broken, let's fix till it is.

69 Yenko Camaro. You have expensive, but very very beautiful taste lol. How about a 75 K20 crew cab long bed (who needs to go over 55)?

I like the ol 75 K20, but the good ol 87 is my favorite body style for "normal" 8ft bed trucks. Dually model would go to something like an 84 in black with the gold pinstriping (just like our old dually).

Pointless trivia-

Long before the new Minis came out, I was travelling in Georgia and pulled over to a gas station, and behind me pops up a mini, much in the same colour as that one. I thought how cool to see one, they are quite rare.

Then another pops up beside him...

...and a third.

I'm thinking "waitaminute, what's going on here?"

I look around and across the street was a mini convention. Hundred of minis in all colours and forms (even a mini pickup truck, probably a custom conversion)

I had a gf who had a real mini. "London Lemon" was the plate (in shortened form) We went to a BMW dealer when the new minis were just released and the salesguy didn't realize what we were driving.

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.

All of my dream cars would require full restorations...

1) Linus' pink/green Honda Civic LX as it would make a perfect center piece at car shows/ exhibitions (so @LinusTech  make sure when you are finished with it don't scrap it, store it somewhere safe and I'll sort something out with you)

2) Aston Martin DB5 in the same silver color as the one featured in the Bond films because it's a stunning car.

3) An 1986 Rover 216 because...I don't know really.
