Which switches should I get?

Worth

Which switches should I get? I absolutely slam on the keyboard so I was thinking of getting something that requires a good bit of force to press. I like clicky keyboards. My current thought was MX Greens, but any other suggestions?

I smash my keys pretty hard myself but one thing to think about when getting heavy mech keys is that they have a long travel distance and stretching your fingers to far keys/keybinds can get really tiring really quickly with mech switchs. I actually fractured my pinky playing Diablo on my buddies clear switchs lol

I think green switches work fine if you want the clicks and something heavy.

Do you even know what mechanical switches feel like? For some amount of people greens don't feel like 1.6x the weight, what they are in terms of measuring normally a lot more unless you know you have Slick sized hands or possibly dinosaur sized hands (Then again Tyrannosaurus Rex is always known for its rather small upper limbs). You might like the idea of greens but you might be suffering for a long time before you get used to typing on them. Just some forethought and warning that I learned from personal experience.

If you're going from membrane to mech then i'll suggest the mx blues, but if you really wanna get pumped fingers that has bigger mucsles that your arms, then you must go with MX greens
