Best E-ATX case for Asus Zenith Extreme

Hello.

I am wondering what is the best E-ATX case for the Zenith Extreme. I was thinking about the 600C but the motherboard are is recessed compared to where the rubber grommets are located and the enith Extreme has a backplate which makes me think it doesn't fit as the site says it can only fit 10.6 motherboards and the Zenith Extreme is 10.9(277mm).

Any recommndations? The case must also be able to fit a 360mm aio preferably in the front Please don't recommend something like the dark base 900 pro since that is so damn expensive and it is not wort it in my opinion. If I missed anything important, feel free to ask.

Thank you in advance for your help!

be Quiet! Dark Base Pro 900

I convinced my comp sci teacher to buy one and he loves it to death even though his iPhone can't do the whole wireless charging thing.

Unfortunately it costs more than it usually does in my country. The tg edition costs 300 dollars here unfortunately. Isn't it insanely large aswell?

get a P400 TG

On phanteks website, it says it can only hold up to 272mm motherboards. How will I fair with a 277mm motherboard with a backplate?

Here's one: https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811133350

It couldn't find any with a mount for an AIO cooler in the front.

I've read som reviews that say it is a little bit flimsy with the construction in som places. That scared me off the case but, I will add it to as an option.

That's standard price for the TG AFAIK,  get the regular one for 150 or so.

Your right. I don't know why, but when you said p5 I googled x5 and that is insanely expensive here. I like the open design of the p5 but unfortunately it is going to be a dust magnet where I will be keeping it since there will be a cat in here. Any other recommendations?

I was thinking about the DB900 because I know everything will fit but it is so damn expensive, that is the problem for me. The 600 is not available in my country for some odd reason.

  • 3 weeks later...

I bought the Zenith and was seriously worried about fitting it in certain cases. I ended up going with the Dark Base Pro 900 and I'm not disappointed. Its a very nice case with A LOT of flexibility. Build quality is top notch and it fits just fine.
