Back in August 2014, when FXX aired their Every Simpsons Ever marathon, I kinda developed a long obsession with The Simpsons.

I wanted to ditch an old name and starting in January 2015 I started using the name Dan Castellaneta. He's the voice actor of Homer Simpson in The Simpsons, among other characters. He also has voiced many other characters, like the Genie in the Aladdin TV show and Kingdom Hearts, Grandpa Phil in Hey Arnold!, and the titular character of the Earthworm Jim show.

In late May 2015, I finalized my transition to my current name.

my name is part of my real name, but the 78 is because I made a Poptropica account when I was 7 but shiv7 was taken so i said ok ill be 8 later so shiv 7-almost-8 but that was too long to type so shiv78

Just username. First name's Jake, and it's more of a name that close friends refer to me as.

I picked my LTT handle @hey_yo_ because I heard someone in YouTube say "hey ya'll" in a ghetto accent and during that time I was signing up for LTT.  

 

I don't really like it and if mods would give me a green light, I'll have it changed.

Way back I was playing D&D with my cousins over the phone, and Aelar was my elven ranger's handle. For some reason, I was suddenly reminded of it when I was signing up for LTT, and I just picked it on a whim. It has since become my almost universal username.

I needed a name for playing Ultima Online, and for some reason I ended up with Volbet as the name. The name just stuck around after that, both as an IRL nickname and as a handle online.

It's a name that's free on most websites so that's a plus. 

Although, it has come to my attention that a Russian betting site is using the name as well.

Drake is an underused, and IMO really cool name. It was one of my nicknames in school, it means and/or approximates to Dragon, it's the name of my favorite Nickelodeon actor, and it's my fursona's name.

some years ago someone claimed 'syntax' on psn before I did, so I added random letters. I typically didn't use that name outside of small forums rather than large services where people claim dictionary words, but I wanted to game with some people I knew online, and it's annoying when you have different usernames in different places, especially on psn when accounts used to be free. 

 

Didn't need to do that here. 

Did it out of habit.

i was thinking of a new name for old runescape.. and it just popped in my head.. and i've been using it eversince... like its not taken on everysite i've tried..  i also use cruzaxelb sometimes, its based on my name Brian Axel Cruz... cruzaxelb looks/sounds better than cruzbriana.. plus the latter sounds like a girl's name so hence cruzaxelb

Ok so back in 2006, over 10 years ago, is where this username starts its life with me. I was obsessed with Minecraft like any other 6 year old little shit but my computer barely ran the game at all, never the less i kept on pestering my parents to buy it for me and they caved in after a while, and then i lost the password for my first 4-6 accounts and 4-6 email accounts and finaly i got myself a gmail account i still use to this day as my primary and my parents bought me MC again, any combination remotlely close to my real name was already taken, most of them by me lol, and i thought for about 20 seconds about the fact that yesterday i had been at a friends house and had a REALLY GOOD bananasplit so i went "I WANA BE CALLED BANANASPLIT THIS TIME!!!!" and ofc that was already taken so i added two zeros to it, and that was taken too so i added the underscore for the final username of "bananasplit_00" and off i was, playing MC for about 2 min Before realizeing that 2fps wasent really acceptable so i stuck to watching the Yogscast on youtube untill my mom bought an Imac some time later. The username is really stupid but that was one hell of a good bananasplit so i dont really regret it, its quite recognisable aswell so its not THAT bad. My secondary username is ""Kawaii Cowboy" and comes from the 2016 Spring NTI LAN party where i created my CS:GO smurf, this was right around the time the R8 revolver was released and while i think they had already nerfed it was still pretty funny to go around shouting "NO FEAR, THE COWBOY IS HERE" and clutching the round against silver 1's lol
