DoJ and Europol shutdown the two largest Dark web Marketplaces

The US Department of Justice and Europol finaly shut down the two largest Dark Web Marketplaces, AlphaBay and Hansa. This comes after the Department of Justice taking control of the two websites during June and July of this year. After having been monitoring activity and transactions since their being Siezed. Now that the Feds have intel on the over 200,000 members and  40,000 vendors, they will be able to track down and sieze other illegal sites, and hopefully lead them to the criminals behind the illigal activities. 

The US attorny General, Jeff Sessions, states:

“This is likely one of the most important criminal investigations of the year taking down the largest dark net marketplace in history,” said Sessions. “The dark net is not a place to hide. We will find you.”

International and National Security agencies will work in coordination to fight the rise of online crime, especialy prominent on the Dark Web. allong with,

The usernames and passwords of thousands of buyers and sellers of illicit commodities have been identified and are subject to more follow-up investigation by Europol and our partner agencies.

the head of Europol adds:

We could identify and disrupt the regular criminal activity that was happening on Hansa market but also sweep up all of those new users that were displaced from AlphaBay and looking for a new trading platform for their ciminal activities. They coordinated a takedown and have punched a big hole in the operating ability of drug traffickers and other serious criminals around the world. 

In the place of the sites, a message is now displayed indicating that the websites were siezed and controlled since June/July:

I can't really say that I care about pirate sites.

Between Steam/GoG/Humble Bundle, Netflix and YouTube I think I have all my media consumption settled and legal.

Well is there any website where I can legally watch movie series like Suits, Arrow, Supergirl, Game of thrones etc. for free  ?

If there is any, sign me up.

Otherwise I will have to stick to my current way of watching those series. Can't give any more details since it's forbiden by forum rules.

It's a potential slippery slope into heavier regulation and moderation/unwarranted data collection.

Well, no regulation is good if you ask me.But, in that context, "good" means whatever regulation someones like, i.e Net Neutrality. If you have the one you want, be prepared to get all the ones you don't

Has anyone ever confirmed if they were actually true? I mean the apple for bitcoin was just a scam to steal other's people BTC. and I guess the same goes for slave selling and drugs or hitman for hire.

if you get scammed you can't even report to anyone like: "hey! I bought a russian wife and hired a gunman to kill my boss but after I sent them the money they disappeared"

the only real thing that makes a bit sense is if they were selling drugs IMO

No regulation is good? The only reason you can send back a broken product is due to regulation, or stopping factories from poisoning rivers and the environment.
