Macbook Pro overheating (2015)

I have a Macbook Pro (2015) and I'm facing a problem with it, where whenever I put the Magsafe charger, the main adapter body and the magnetic jack heats up so highly that I can't even touch it and the bar below the screen (top of keyboard) also heats up pretty highly that I cannot bear it, thus cannot also put it on my lap.(This happens without charger also) 

So I've come to a point where I contacted apple support twice, where first one asked me to not use it, and the other one said it's normal of charger and laptop heating up and made me clean my cache and made me install MalwareBytes. Also point to note that I'M TALKING ABOUT IDLE TEMPS where no load is being put up by any background tasks.

Also, my charger cable has also turned yellowish (Pic inserted).

 

Laptop is in warranty and I've not got any time to go to applecare.

I think the coloration of the cable has nothing to do with this. 

 

Sounds like there might be a short somewhere in the charging system on the logic board. 

 

Are you using the laptop while charging it? Does the laptop charge when you plug it in? Does the battery hold a charge?

2.Yes

well it should definitely not be heating up beyond use. 

 

Since you can't take it to a store contact Apple and ship your MacBook to be repaired/replaced.

yes it should be, Apple uses poor thermal paste and thermal design with poor software fan control. you have to have a custom fan curve to keep it cool. OP which laptop do you have 13 or 15 inches?

1- clean your laptop

2- replace thermal paste 

3- use SMC fan control 

4- replace your charger. 

5- try to stay in a cool room

yup, unhelpful as usual, you have to go to a store to get good advice. 

that's normal, it happens when your charger overheats, if you have AppleCare you can get it replaced. 

It's a brand new piece, still in warranty, bought just before the launch of 2016 one (forgot the month)
