That's a last gen card. Get a AMD Rx 580, so worth it. But it's about the same as GTX 1060 6GB, so that's also worth it.

i5 is useless, get AMD Ryzen 5.

so it costs 300$ brand new and newer cards such as the gtx 1060 or rx 580 for less price you and better performance you wont going to pay for one of them

Remember to quote me (or someone else), otherwise we won't going to recieve your answers...

You can't generalize cards.

Also why the Intel fanboying? R5 is better at this point.

Don't know if you wanted to include a monitor or the OS but I would get Windows 10 From Kingwin because I got Windows 10 Pro for $40

I really don't understand the insistence on Intel and Nvidia if amd is providing better value...

That said, @herman mcpootis's build looks good to me.

Make sure to quote me or tag me when responding to me, or I might not know you replied! Examples:

Do this:

And make sure you do it by hitting the quote button at the bottom left of my post, and not the one inside the editor!

Or this:

@DocSwag

Buy whatever product is best for you, not what product is "best" for the market.

Interested in computer architecture? Still in middle or high school? P.M. me!

I love computer hardware and feel free to ask me anything about that (or phones). I especially like SSDs. But please do not ask me anything about Networking, programming, command line stuff, or any relatively hard software stuff. I know next to nothing about that.

That's not really a good way to see it, it's like saying "Toyota is better than Opel at making cars".

Amd has good cards, Nvidia has bad cards and vice versa.

Depends on the cards, but RX580>GTX1060>GX970

Agreed, right now the AMD equivalent to this generations i5's are the R5's, and they win in P/P.

THIS IS IMPORTANT! Look up more cards around your budget, there are TONS of options.
