it's legit but not for reselling purposes.

They'll have every right to deactivate your key if you bought MSDN key.

its a little bit of a risk but often for the non OEM price you can buy 4 or 5 of those keys from keyresellers. even if you have to buy 3 new keys you would still be off cheaper.

This is what you need to know in no specific order:

1. it is not the way it is intended to be sold, there are multiple listings of discontinued products and OEM only products

2. OEM must comply with system builder rules which clearly state you cannot apply to a computer you built for yourself.

3. MS does not police this at all.

4. Without any packaging that you are suppose to receive with genuine product you do not know where the key came from.

5. Why pay money to a person who is clearly using a key generator?

6. some products are VL only which can only be sold by a LAR or VAR (MS B2B sales) and these poeple would never sell on reddit.

The keys work but MS can (and occasionally does) deactivate all keys given out by certain sellers when they're caught.

I'd go for kinguin if I were you. The guy on reddit looks shady and will likely steal your money and give you a counterfeit copy. :/

If you believe these, you might as well just get one of the $5 keys from eBay. Same shit.

Just don't complain if it doesn't work, or fails you later on.

Kinguin/G2A/PlayAsia is the same people doing the same thing. They're all MSDN exploits.

Best way to get a key is go down to your local used computer store or alike and snag a picture of a key. I would never do it but I heard it's possible. The old PC store I worked at use to take all the stickers of old toshibas and put them on their refurbished PC's never had a problem.

Also regarding this if it does fail. What happens if MS deactivates your PC's windows?

Then your Windows becomes deactivated. That's it. You'll be subject to the same restrictions Windows has when it's never been activated.

G2A is a shit company, destroying legit companies with their practices. Using that service makes you just as guilty as them.

Are you that daft? Of course they're going to say that. It's their company!

You really need to learn how to properly inform yourself.

Just a small sample of what's out there.

G2A is marketplace, anyone can be a seller.

and in this particular question, the key IS LEGIT, but only if you get it through proper method.

MSDN key isn't tradeable/marketable, if you get msdn key through that process then microsoft can disable it at anytime.

The keyword here is MSDN key/serial number.

Doesn't matter on what website you get, it's the same thing, so instead recommending a website which isn't a good thing for comparison, just pick the cheapest you can get, same thing, same risk, same treatment.

That wasn't really the point I was trying to make, I wanted was do you know any other websites that are more so legit for selling games. Maybe even eBay.
