is i3-6100 + RX580 8GB AORUS good?

onceUponAtime

Hi, im currently using i3-6100 + RX460 and was planning to upgrade to RX580 seeing as its much cheaper than RX480 in my area, I know there will be a bit of a bottleneck but will it still work great for like Ghostrecon-wild llands, the withcer 3, CRYSIS 3 (lol)?

I'd upgrade, then get a new CPU as soon as possible.

RX 580 will be held back, but a bit of configuration optimization can help a lot getting the most out of both the cpu and gpu.

It will still work,

Since your cpu is a teeny bit faster than a g4560 you wont see a huge bottle neck, but this should give you some idea of the performance hit you'll be taking alongside a similar GPU. Biggest hit was to BF1 and GTAV I believe

At what quality settings? At what resolution? Targeting what frame rate?

actually im currently getting 30fps stable at ultra settings and 45-60fps mid settings with my i3-6100+rx460 @ 1080p . so im pretty sure i3 it can handle the game, the question is can i get better results with rx580 being held back?

Oh... nice , honestly my budget is pretty limited haha, but if its works, I am good with it for now and then just upgrade the cpu later

Then I'd recommend upgrading your CPU first.
