Theres a $40 difference and you will want to overclock in the future.  If you get a board that overclocks and a non overclocking chip, you are wasting money on the board.

Your chip would run on that board, to answer your question.  If you are not going to overclock, get a cheaper kaby lake motherboard so you arent wasting money on a feature you won't use

Unless the board is on a huge discount. If not, don't get it. Buy a H270 if you still want the IO.

the other chip i was looking at was the i5 7600k

That would go with your motherboard and save you quite a bit.  That would be a good chip

Yes, the board will work. Have you considered getting the 7700k and just not overclocking it?

It's only $40 for a 600mhz increase. Pretty decent, even if you leave it at stock settings.

Not necessarily, there are many reasons to get the Z series board, including just liking the look of it.

The H series is generally not that much better of a deal. It also doesn't always have the same IO as Z, and really, once it does the price delta is so small that you might as well just get the Z board for it's additional features and generally better looks.
