Not too shabby. Get that CPU speed up higher and your score will get a lot better.

I got 5800 without lod as well and I didn't really have time to see which lod worked best so I guessed a few times and manage 6400 a couple of times before getting the correct value for 6500. I think if I had done 5-10 more runs I could have squeezed 6600or 6700 out of it

Set your PC's power state to "High-Performance" so it locks your CPU at its max clock speed. That should help your score a bunch.

Once you get into the realm of SLI, Valley really requires high CPU clocks when running it at 1080p.

Image auto resized and is a bit hard to read, but specs and pic of my rig are in my sig.

MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X

i5 6600K @ 4.4ghz

Gigabyte Z170X Gaming 7

Seasonic Prime Titanium 750

119.6 FPS

5005 Score

Vram ran fine at +600, but I got a lower score.  I guess it was having to correct for errors and the memory needed more power to run at that speed.  Core Clock spiked at 2126mhz, then slowly over the course of the benchmark settled down to 2076mhz towards the end.

1080p must be Extreme HD setting.

1440p and 4k must be fullscreen, not windowed.

780 has modified bios inside with 1.3 max voltage, I could propably squeeze bit more out of the memory.

4770k caps out pretty much at 4.5, even at 1.39v 4.6 wasn't stable at all.

I upped my CPU to 4.5ghz, and was able to eek out just a tad bit more from the MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X...pushing the core clock to +160 and the memory clock to +550.  The core ramped up to 2138mhz for a short while, then  slowly ramped down and stayed at 2101mhz for most of the bench...then finally at the end settled down to 2086mhz.  +600 mhz on the memory, the last time I ran it, gave me a lower score.  I didn't run it that high this time to test even though I was able to get the core and memory up a tad more (which I wasn't before).  I was mainly just concerned with seeing since I was so close to 120 fps the last time if I could find a way to eek it out.  Got it.

I should be getting a 780 windforce very soon. idk what revision it is yet, but could i borrow your bios please :)

I got bored of trying to get one of my 775 boards to find a new bios so i benched this 670 with a waterblock that i havent actually used yet :P Didnt use lod today. i was planning to play a game then i realised it was too slow and i should have put a 780 in instead.

I have to say the memory on this card is pretty damn good.

just got my card this morning. i think your memory clock is really holding you back. i am getting higher score even with lower core speed. my memroy only start artifacting at 1850mhz. 1825mhz is fine. if you get around 1800+ you score should go up a lot.

My card can do 1320mhz+ at 1.3v but it hits the power limit and goes down to 1241mhz in a few places meaning it gets a lower score. i will fix that with some thermal grizzly conductonaut

you need gpuz as well. also have you tried overclocking that at all? i know the cooler is small. also that score is really really really low for that res, even at 1080p thats a super low score. that is 7870/7950 slow :(

I mean games run at good frame rate. Crysis 3 all maxed 27-45fps. But will check with that.

Indeed that score is really low. I am not sure why. I just retested. My old GTX 760 got 1234 score and this barely manage past it.

All games I tested ran very good. Crysis 3 maxed out ran 27-40fps. Tomb Raider on average is 20-30fps all maxed out.

GPU usage as can be seen was 100%. Temps never went past 81-82 C. Card: PowerColor RX 480 4GB Red Dragon (one fan model)
