Nokia tests insanely fast 52Gbps fiber internet to lucky customers in South Korea

That's a max theoretical rate of 6.5GB/sec folks.

At least, you could stream 4k over there with that speed. We just got gigabit speed here in Canada, Jesus.

I mean latency still could be an issue, but yea that speed is so far beyond what is needed for 4k (4k HEVC is only like 10-30 MB/s).

 

Man US carriers suck almost as bad as AU ones do...
