By any chance is their an ISO for Win10?

Later. Microsoft says in their FAQ that you need to upgrade first. Then you can get the ISO.

No information on how it will all work.

Someting of intrest. My desktop computer has Windows 10 Insider Preview fully updated, and I have the Windows 10 download. But it is only 4GB. Hasn't increase in a very long time. Nothing tells me that the setup it ready, and the setup.exe works.

On my Surface Pro 2 running Windows 8.1, it is 4.2GB, and that system I was paying attention when I was at work (I use it there), it was increase slowly by steadily, and it stopped at 4.2GB. And I can manually run the setup... But Windows Update and the Get Windows app doesn't say anything beside the default thing. Meaning Windows update says "We'll let you know when the upgrade is ready on this PC.", and the Get Win10 app shows the default thing that has been reserved.

Both system is on 64-bit Windows.

So...what if you can't upgrade because your copy of Windows 7 (eg, Windows 7 Pro upgraded from Windows 7 Home-both discs are 64bit) refuses to update at all (they fail every single attempt)?

Yea, apparently it downloaded yesterday for me.   Just waiting for sweet, sweet midnight!

Looks like my system has downloaded the new OS. What happens now? Will it install automatically, or do I need to trigger it? The file is still hidden in Windows.

If I run the setup.exe I get an error stating the installer could not locate the file called "Boot.wim". (Error 0x80070002)

Had to decrypt the iso out of the install.esd,then just extract the iso to a folder and run the setup.exe but after all that I'm upgraded.

It will download the rest in the background. My process took 10 minutes.

Same here, but it also says the used drive space is over 6GB, so I guess it's ok?

Installed. Really nice so far. Every setting and software is intact and works, even drivers. Only needed to update graphics cards driver to the win10 version (8.1 still worked though). Edge is very nice, and very fast. Needs some more settings though, but so nice!

How did you get yours to install? I keep getting a windows update error when trying to install Windows 10.
