21 hours in and I finally made it to Diamond City

As the Witcher 3 is on sale, I decided to pick up. I cant run it at ultra without some serious frame drops, but it was good enough for a screenshot and man does it look gorgeous.

Murdered Soul Suspect, for unknown reasons at 1920x1080 the game looks like it is running a none native resolution with poor image quality, so i went DSR to get the crispness which is odd, i went 4K which was playable at 30-35FPS, but decided to settle with 3325x1871 so i could enable the highest quality HDAO, i get 40-55FPS at this resolution, FXAA low and all other settings maxed.

 

I experimented with all resolutions for the sharpness to return as shown below by different resolutions, at 2560x1440 with 4xMSAA i was doing 70-90FPS... it's impressive for a GTX 580.

Well i wanted to try out my new game Saint's Row IV... it's a weird one this.. it runs at 75hz refresh at 1080p with really good performance 62-75fps @ Vsync, but when i DSR it loses performance somehow yet if i disable MSAA from 8x even at 4K i don't gain a single bit of performance, and at 4K it was getting 22-27FPS, at 1440p 33FPS.. odd engine.

 

Perhaps i broke the game? hah!

 

Great game until it crashed driving around for no reason, i had to reboot my PC as the game would not exit and the car noises were looping
