Honestly I feel that when I buy the Fallout 4 Season Pass I'm just going to get it through G2A because it's literally half of what it is on Steam, and I'm not about to pay 50 bucks for it.

Given how 1080 Tis boosts work, are such versions even worth paying for? I just got the one I did cos it was white and the cheapest custom cooled with triple fans.

Only if you plan to liquid cool it at some point then it opens up some serious OC capability over a regular Ti.

Yes, they overclock well manually, and the person buying a K|NGP|N isn't going to be using GPU Boost.

My £720 1080 Ti will OC to a max boost of over 2025 too, but the minimum is still around 1950.

 

Also the kingpin is over £900, meanwhile you can get the Titan XP for £999 on Nvidias website. At that point I'd rather just get the fully unlocked Titan version.

Kingpin cards are offset past the point that GPU Boost 3.0 would push the card.

So they stay at a fixed clock? Can a normal 1080 Ti be flashed with a kingpin bios or no?

 

I'd love to fix mine to 2025 MHz (2050 crashes, max I got with my stable OC is somewhere in between the two, but it keeps dipping below as usual due to the shitty boost).

All you need to do is raise the offset and voltage limit.

It's the setting you use to increase the clockspeed.
