By "jap" do you mean japanese? Because this isn't japanese... ?

It is a good song though.

yes i did mean japanese,it sounds japanese to me, and from the search i did to find the lyrics, i found the original lyrics to also be in japanese, but maybe i'm wrong, if so i would love to know what language this is

The very first comment sums it up for me...

you are watching Rock Legends, cover Rock Gods, in front of said Rock Gods, on a night the Rock Gods are being honored for their rock godliness, choosing the Rock Gods' most famous song. And they slayed it.

Learn something new every day. It didn't sound Japanese to me and I didn't realize it was a cover. I stand corrected. :)

Just Another Brick in the Wall.

I miss the days when music videos actually told a story, something which Pink Floyd's video producers were legendary gods at doing.

I too am a huge fan of mashups like these, as they show amazing creativity (when done correctly) and allow us to imagine what could have been (or could still be) if/when the right artists collaborate. I'm really not a Kanye West fan at all, but if Galantis and him were to collaborate, it'd probably sound similar to this. (One half of Galantis co-wrote Toxic all the way back in 2003-2004, in case anyone didn't know.)

I know it's been said before, but it has to be said again: Chet's voice is mesmerizing.

As for myself, Spotify's Discover Weekly playlist throws it out of the park again, allowing me to discover an Australian progressive metal band mixing together guitar riffs, smashing drums, melodic vocals, and symphonic electronica in an industrial wave of power. (This is what makes Spotify the best music service, at least for my needs. Paul Lamere's playlist & discovery algorithm's are second to none.)

Thats a good cover on one of the best tunes from the late 80's. I remember falling in love with Helena Christensen when the video came out. WOW, those eyes slayed me.

Great song, indeed. Corny video aside, this is one of my favourite covers of that song.
