Get the 580 with 4GB instead. The 570 can't use all that VRAM anyway since it will be GPU limited.

If you are wanting a faster gpu than the RX 580 4gb is the one to go with as it has a higher clock speed than the 570. The clock speed is 89 MHz faster on the 580 which is not very much but it is technically a faster performing card.

I am not an expert! I have had experience building computers but in no way am I Linus! Please correct me if I am wrong, I would love to here your feedback!

Have a good day!

Clock speed has nothing to do with why the 580 is faster...

The 580 is faster because is has more stream processors active...where as the 570 is the same GPU but with some CU (compute units) disabled...so it performs less.

4GB is enough for 1080p high quality, 1440p medium-high quality

8 GB gives maybe 5-10% performance increase in games that use a lot of vram

so 580 4 GB makes more sense, as you can always play with the quality settings to keep the overall vram usage below the 4 GB threshold if you notice a game struggles.

This coupled with the extra stream processors will result in higher fps.
