Obsessed With Your PC

Geekazoid

Hi guys,

So, given that this IS a tech forum I would imagine there are some members on here that are a tad or more obsessed with their PC and can't stand to be away from it. I will admit that I can spend a good few hours on mine if I get really stuck into a video editing project and so I know I should probably try and spend a few less hours on it.

So, I thought of an interesting way that you could mentioned about your obsession with your computer just by ending the following sentence:

You know you're obsessed with your PC when...

ON A 7 MONTH BREAK FROM THESE LTT FORUMS. WILL BE BACK ON NOVEMBER 5th.

... you sacrifice sleep for PC time (specifically gaming) even on weekdays (work/school).

Ya know, I've never even considered if I'm obsessed with my PC. I spend 90% of my time on it, but I've never considered that. Not even once.

Huh. I might have a real problem. To the extreme of "you don't even notice it".

Say it with me, "The first step is admitting you have a problem."

...when you use it more than your phone.

I love my computer. Whenever I want to go online I wish I had it with me at all times because of the ease of use. Looking up something on my phone could take 1-3 minutes (for a variety of reasons) whereas my computer can turn on in 12 seconds and be at chrome in 15-20, and I would have already found what I needed by the time my phone just started loading the new page. Not to mention, it's faster at everything, the screen is bigger, and I can have all sorts of junk open at the same time. I can do all this with my phone, but it's just so much more quick on my computer. I love it. Also the speakers cost more than my phone so listening to music is much much more enjoyable.

I don't need to know to understand lol... I do it on a daily basis myself. Add on the concentration of staring at stocks and I won't even notice.
