if u remove all the ram does it beep ?

If not then most probably the motherboard is dead.

Double and triple check if everything is connected correct. Dead parts are rare

What motherboard model is it ?

Maybe it has some ram incompatibilities, as some LGA 775 motherboards don't support more than 4gb ram ....

This motherboard supports max 4gb ram.....

try to use only two 2gb ddr2 sticks you have in dual channel.... (slots 2 and 4, it's better of both of them are 800mhz but 667 is fine)

don't forget to turn on memory remapping feature in the bios....(to use all the 4gb you have)

Use small wire cutters , if u do it carefully then no cables should get damaged....
