motherboard chipset for Ryzen 5 1600

hello!

 

   I am planning of a pc build with the ryzen 5 1600 and do not plan on overclocking. as i am on a tight budget with around 60 USD to spend on the motherboard, should i go for a a320 or a b450 chipset motherboard?

B450 for sure 

I recommended going with asrock b450m pro4 or b450 pro4 on tight budget

you can find a b450 mobo for that price, although it will be a pretty mediocore board.

b350 or b450, get one that has a heatsink over the vrms.

also make sure you get the 1600AF. it;s better and cheaper than the standard 1600.

Ya bro.There is no b450 for 4000 rupees

U can try to get used b450 or b350.

At that price gigabyte a320 hd2 I think is a good option

i dont plan on overclocking to be honest. what do the other two features mean? couldnt i just install a heatsink on an a320 and get teh same effects as a b450 or b350?

OK then 

Let's change the CPU to 1200af or 3100 if it u can u can save upto a 1000 to 2000 using this amount buy any b450 motherboard or else go with used b450 or b350 motherboard or new a320 as the last option

 

There is no noticeable dip in performance using 1200af while gaming and if u get 3100 there is increase in performance 

 

3100 is going to be launched this week and may come to India on may last week

a320 only has 2 memory slots and less support for high ram frequencies (up to 2933 mhz is usual, when a cpu like 1600 would love 3000-3200 mhz), has minimal usb on the io shield (back of motherboard) and usually has no heatsinks on the vrm circuitry which means if you'll want to buy a more powerful processor in the future, that processor may not run at 100% because it would be slowed down by the vrm overheating (the vrm tells the cpu to reduce its frequencies or turn off some cores temporarily so that it will consume less power and give the vrm time to cool down)

 

Aim for b450 boards.

B350 boards should also work just fine, but you may have difficulty upgrading in the future to newer processors.

 

Asrock B450 Pro4 models are very good and cheap.

If those aren't available, gigabyte b450m ds3h is cheap and perfectly fine for a 1600.

 

Note that B550 boards are gonna launch in a month or so, so B450 boards are gonna be even rarer new in stores, as most manufacturers probably shifted production to make b550 boards.
