yeah... i've speculated a bit with some people to what it is

what i hate is that silverstone puts way too many units on one name, this is like... the 4th essential unit?

Not much room to speculation here IMO, if we already have an answer to "what it is" with a clear picture of the inside :P

all I've speculated about so far is who even made it... looks kinda close to some andysons from what I've seen here and there, but that's about what i can say for now

silverstone, give answers

and fix your naming, this is like the fourth or fifth on the same name

Yes, it is made by Andyson - despite the article claiming it's manufactured by CWT.

any idea to what it is? speculation between me and some others say VENUS or m5+ based, but yeah... not easy to see

It looks nothing alike Venus or M5+ though.... I don't know what photos of them you've been looking at, but there are no common elements at all between those three.

This Silverstone PSU is based on designs from Andyson called PAD07500 for the 500W, and PAD07550/PAD07600/PAD07650/PAD07700 for 550/600/650/700W. The same platform (internally PAD07 for short) will be used in ABKONCORE's next series of 80+ Gold PSUs too.

I don't think Andyson used this design in any of their own branded units yet.

Uses DC-DC with half bridge primary topology and an LLC resonant converter as you can see from the photo, and the area next to the bridge rectifier looks blurred out for some reason ?

Label with product serial number ?

Edit: there's a few other areas which were blurred out, what are they hiding there lol ?

Just to clarify, when you list the psu in its category are you talking about the one linked or the whole watt range.

No, that Tenergy Gold series is already released - by "next series" I meant an unreleased series. Also it was 850W, and I just said this platform in Silverstone goes from 500W to 700W.

Andyson's Seasonic Focus copy platform is called PAD03, and it's used in the aforementioned Abkconcore Tenergy Gold 850/750/650W, and also in Xigmatek Hera 850/750/650W. It goes from 850W down to 650W.

This Silverstone's platform is Andyson PAD07, used in Silvestone ET500-MG, 600W, and 700W, Xigmatek Minotaur MT550 and MT650, and an unannounced series from ABKO with uncertain name as of yet.

There's also the distinct platform used in EVGA GA, which is called PAD01 internally and will also appear in a different upcoming Abko series.

Is this the EVGA GD 2017 or 2019?? also may I ask why the 2017 version is ranked higher than the 2019 when the 2019 is a newer model? image.png.1567251fbb031928ad5db7dd4574cc1b.png

Could just have been an oversight, but new doesn't always mean better.

What marketplace is that ? There's be quiet! Straight Power 11 on Newegg for 3044 PHP, this price doesn't look right at all but worth a shot i guess.

that is the 2017, they end on x50, the 2019 on x00

because the 2019 is based off FSP's Hydro GE vs the 2017 being a downgraded GQ, which is based off the same platform as Be Quiet used for the pure power 11

Lazada, it's usually around 4000PHP, that 3500 is the cheapest I could find and it's been out of stock for a month.

in the strider's case it's mostly the regulation on 3.3v

something very unrealistic, but it's there

yeah, again... it's a rather unrealistic scenario where something would happen in, hence the placement in tier d+, not lower

Your definition for "single rail" and "multi rail" is kind of wrong... also how did EVGA G3 end up in D tier when the sources you named literally say its a highly efficient and well performing unit?
