I think i have a virus

I logged on to my laptop and the command prompt opened up saying some stuff about system 32 and before i had a chance to see it all shut down then a while later it said i was running an april updsate and would stop recieving windows 10 support and its saying all my 3 options with One more saying update and restart. I Know thats false as i recnetely updated my laptop,.

backup all your files and run windows defender (i know) first. if nothing pops up, check adwcleaner, then try malware bytes, then try an actual virus scanner (bitdefender, kaspersky, norton) and use a trail version to check if you have anything. 

 

if still nothing, backup everything and re-install windows

Thanks but ive used malware bytes and windows defender and malwarebytes nothings came up

Updated from what to what?

What version of Windows are you running now exactly?

It's highly possible you're still on an old version of Windows like 1500 or 1600 and have more updates to go.

It looses support in October. 1903 is the latest. You will want to invest in a external drive of some kind. This update nuked one of my PC's. Went ok on my Moms machine thus far, though I dont use that machine, so if it did fuck things up I wouldnt know.
