Switched MB on FreeNAS stuck at Trying to mount...

Hello, I switched my FreeNAS MB and mow I'm stuck at "Trying to mount root from zfs:freenas-boot/ROOT/11.2-U3 []...

 

Any help appreciated. Thank you.

what was the new and the old systems? Could be the different driver of the boot drive. Id do a reinstall and restore config.

From my experience with FreeNAS it generally doesn't care about swapping motherboards so long as the devices that were previously plugged in are reconnected.

 

Is FreeNAS installed on USB or a HDD/SSD?

 

I'd probably go with Electronics Wizardy's suggestion. Should prevent more issues down the road.

 

Are you swapping from a particularly old board to something new? Are you maybe swapping from something proprietary to something else? I could see these causing unforeseen issues.

It's from a z170 to z170. How do I save the configs so I can restore them later after I reinstall FreeNAS OS?
