So im getting a pretty good tax return. Where should I start

So I'm going to have a decent budget of 1005 USD I have a decent case that im going to gut and am wanting a mid to high end gaming pc.

Start by telling us what you already have or currently using

need to know what case you're gutting and anything else you have, and what you want it for (gaming pc will be specced different than a video editing pc)

Other than the cases I haven't much else I'll pick up a keyboard and mouse as I build the pc this and for a while after build will be plugged into my tv

Just toss the case man, you can buy a new one that is gonna be 60-70 bucks that will be FAR superior for cooling and quite frankly look much better. As far as what to build, b450 board, ryzen 2600, gtx1060, get a decent 450-500w power supply and 8 gb 3000 mhz ram kit and add a ssd drive and you're set

This may be the build I go with and just weather the case and in a light kit and a etched acrylic panel
