that actually checks out, meshify c has a fine airflow as well and an okay amount of pre installed fans. solid build in my eye so far. maybe you could have went with the 5800x, to maybe aleviate the 3080 bottleneck but it should run fine anyways, you might not notice a bottleneck, not a najor one to say the least.

You only see benefits of more RAM if you are using at or over 16GB.  Some games can use more, usually heavily modded games like Skyrim, Minecraft, Ark, etc.  Check RAM usage in Task Manager.  If you routinely hit 15GB+... may be useful.

No, you won't see a difference between those two kits, their speeds are the same and any variance in CL is negligible.

If you want an upgrade path, I'd suggest getting a B450/B550 motherboard and then a ryzen 5 2600\3600 and upgrading to a 5600 down the road as they hit the used market.

Memory I'd go with 16gb in an 8x2 configuration and then add another 8x2 when you upgrade CPU (Or just do 32gb now in an 8x4, Ram's pretty cheap so that won't be a big cost savings down the road).

I'd get a top of the line power supply in the 750-850W range so you never have to worry about it.

Video card, I'd probably browse the used market for a 2060\5700 xt and swap it out with a 3060\6800 when it was time.

SSD, just some M2 Wester Digital Blue or Samsung Evo 970. 1TB min. Add in a 2TB Sata SSD (Or another M2 if you're feeling it) and then add more storage later.

Case I'd focus on something easy to build in and clean so as you upgrade parts you can just clean it out.

And I'd stick with the stock cooler as long as possible unless overclocking is a desire.

Get the best mechanical keyboard and a good mouse since those should last you the life of the PC.

And for a monitor I'd get something 144hz 1440p IPS. It'll look great for years to come.

I think that covers everything. Enjoy!

Buy a motherboard with bios flashback, then just use a usb drive with the bios file and push the flashback button.

It greatly decreases load times and also helps with stutter in games due to being able to load textures much faster, not always noticeable but if you search you'll see there are benefits in some cases for it.

Windows can be had as said above, Ebay for example has keys aplenty.

SSDs decrease the length of load times in games, but when gaming it makes almost no difference.

You can just use Windows unactivated, or get a license from another way. There are some 3rd party sites that you can buy a license for ~$20.

Don't pay full price for Windows.  Then use that money to get a 1TB SSD for data/games.

That level machine needs all SSD love.  You don't buy a $800 GPU and slow feed it off a HDD.

Pick a price range and pick a feature set and go from there.

Buildzoid (Actual Hardcore Overclocking) has great Mobo breakdown videos. They are long so skip to boards you are interested in if you don't want to watch it all.

The motherboard tier list in this sub will give you a good idea of board quality too.

The tomahawk boards are generally regarded as a great value option. Good VRMs too.

*Edit* As far as chipsets. All of them are fine. I doubt you need pcie gen 4 that you get with x570. There's not much difference beyond that. Some extra chipset lanes etc. I'd be more concerned with getting a good VRM. Are you just gaming?

Wait. Honestly for this budget your performance benefits should be worth it. Come back in 2-3 months and then we can give you a part list or whatever. (Use Pcpartpicker they are the best for configuring and stuff) I would also recommend learning abit about pc hardware so your good to go when you come to building it.

Build, and two things I would very strongly reommend are waiting for the new hardware to come out - it's right around the corner - and to refrain from spending so much on a gaming PC.

If not, the list isn't too bad. I would get cheaper storage (non Samsung) and bump up to a 2080Super. I would also swap the motherboard for a better B550 board
