One thing else to check is the break away cable. I've had a few issues over the years with those failing and causing disconnections 

I'm gonna agree with target. Logan from Tek Syndicate did a pretty in depth video on how TIM spreads and shows how spreading it before hand creates air bubbles. Other then that it seems good dude

Ok. I set this up in THE MOST ghetto way possible. I am using an HDMI cable and the RCA cables from the xbox at the same time. The HDMI is handling video while the  RCA is handling audio. I had to remove the plastic shroud from around the RCA cable and cut the wires that went to the optical output (don't use the cable anymore and I have a replacement type dongle anyway). Then I used a RCA to 3.5 adapter I had lying around then just used a 3.5 to 3.5 cable to input into the line in. It works rather well and I love it haha. And it didn't cost me a cent

Although., I may need to get the official adapter. It's messing with the video out to my monitor and won't work sometimes

I've come to realize that people who don't like 8 don't like it cause of Metro and that's pretty much it and even then there are literally 5 different ways to fix it. They could spend more then 5 seconds before they say they hate it. Win 8 is just a better OS

As someone who says umm and like a lot, it's a defense mechanism to having random pauses in your sentences. I've started to do it because I stutter quite severely sometimes and saying umm helps slow myself down. Just providing some insight. And your friend sounds like a person in need of a face slapping

I'm sorry, but this is one of the most obvious benchmarks I've ever seen! I really don't think anyone is stupid enough to play a game with F@H active, and then wonder why their FPS is low. I never run anything with it on, not CS:GO, GTA:SA or Simpsons Hit and Run because it takes up my resources.
