I’ve came to the conclusion that the motherboard is fine and it’s the cpu because I was running 1.5 volts on it at 4ghz so I’ve narrowed it down to the cpu or psu but I’ll try it tomorrow

Oh, I have 2 more amazing games, Subnautica and Subnautica Below zero.
Subnautica is mostly a survivaly game, but it has a deep and cool story
So does subnautica below zero, it's story is larger than previus one and has characters and is overall very good.
The graphics are also lovely and gameplay is pretty cool

red dead is pretty great story wise does and is a relaly long game if you want to commit to one. witcher 3 is pretty great some of the best side quests Ive ever played is in that game. some of the side quests could be its own game or DLC. I would reccomend watching some run down on youtube on the first 2 games before playing so you have context going into the third game.

@Cool_EvloSorry, I have a really short temper, but I didn't '"scream with caps'' that was more meant to higlight. I should see my therapist at some point. my apologies for boing angry to @Brok3n But who cares? But still, my point stands that I'd recommend a better psu.

if you stay with intel processors, the latency does not matter that much but if you switch to AMD then yes latency matters. However, given that it's already 32gb of 3600mhz, the faster latency is not going to make much difference even with AMD.

Gta V seems to run decent on most computers, I'd say you should go for older games, as they usually run good on pc's without good graphics card.
Legue of legends might be for you
Minecraft is a really great option.
War thunder (if you're into ww2 games, its free btw)
Need for speed Most wanted 2005 is one of the best nfs games, it runs on every pc out there, I've played trough it multiple times, pretty fun.
Heroes of might and magic 3, though its an RTS
Some older assasins creed games are very fun, like the first ones, I used to love them and they ran on my intel cleron 2 core no gpu laptop
Not sure if you can run but Witcher 3 is 5 bucks now and one of the best game out there, really great, maybe with some graphics tweaking you could run it on low 30 fps
Sims 4 if you're into that
Skyrim might run for you, though also not sure, its also very good to play sometimes
Euro truck simulator 2 or American truck sim if youre into that type of games.
CsGo
Older gta games are very fun (Gta 3, vice city, san andreas) You might like them
Warframe pretty fun especially with friends, but grindy
You can also look for free games out there, maybe you will find something you enjoy, free games are great as you can try out and see if you like them if not, it was free so no money wasted.

GPU prices are in the shitter, you ought to wait till that passes

Windows powershell cannot be deleted I'm pretty sure, it's like command prompt (cmd) but better. It's possible that an app that is set to startup with your pc is using it hence it appears, you can go into task manager to startup section and see what is starting up with windows, maybe that will help. You can also disable there apps you don't want slowing down your pc on startup. Also reinstalling windows could help.
As for upgrading your gpu, if you are willing to pay scalper prices, sure, though I'd recommend waiting.
Your cpu can handle most cards, only rtx 3080 and 3090 will bottleneck, most cards will run fine, even rtx 2080 ti or 3070 So it's up to you what you want to.
Otherwise I'm not sure what you want, let me know if you need some more info or something.

something like this could work instead:

Seems pretty good, though that cpu defenetly doesn't need that cooler, unless you are going to overclock. You could get away with a ryzen 5 with stock cooler, mine runs very well, so if you don't take that cooler you could up your cpu budget and get a better cpu. But its up to you, the rest is seems good.

You can get SOME performance boost in some cases on ryzen 5000 series at least, yes. But dont expect too much, if you have enough RAM capacity now it may not be worth it.
And, yes, You can just add more of the same, I did on my PC. Just make sure its actually the same. They are known to switch out the chips and still market it as the same.
It can still run with mismatched sets, but it might be at lower performance or increased stability

Lotinsh reacted to Catsrules in Looking for Legacy PCI and Legacy BIOS am4 motherboard, need some help finding.
But without more information we can't really help. Even if you get the cards to physically connect, my guess is your going to have issues with software. When your getting into that old territory you could have issues with 16bit support and older OS not playing nice with newer hardware/older software not playing nice with newer OS. Remember even Windows 7 will have a hard time running on the latest hardware and that is relativity new in the context of this discussion. I am not sure about the Linux it really depends on what your using.
Not saying it is impossible but if I had to guess it will be harder then plugging in a card and installing some software.
Have you thought of buying/keeping older hardware and then buying a new computer. The old stuff does whatever he is doing with the older cards and the new stuff is everything else.

This gigabyte motherboard maybe
A320m-hd2
Or this....
Honestly tho, it's probably worth to use older system... And a320 suck if you try to use it with anything more than ryzen 3 or athlon

Lotinsh got a reaction from Farm-Boy_7130 in I got a ryzen 5 3600 a while ago, but it seems like it's overheating with the stock cooler? Need advice.
I found the issue, it was auto overclock, I turned it off and it runs really well now, I'm going to order a new cooler soon so I should be fine to turn it on again 🙂 thanks
