    Disclaimer:
English is not my native language, so please tolerate my grammar and any strange or negative context which I might not mean to put it at all, simply because I don't English very well.

General Information and Inspiration of the build:
This is my very first time liquid cooling build. Even I never touch an AIO, I went stright to custom loop. I was mainly using air cooled system as I was denying to go liquid after all these years because of my paranoia to involve liquid in between electronics. Finally I got the courage to jump in, and when my courage took down my paranoia, I dedicated to give everything I got with the knowledge I gained from the internet.

I must say that this build was initially inspired by Metallic Acid works on the exterior appearance. He built so many PCs with brushed panels, and all of those builds left me speechless, while this build of mine is a brushed normal Evolv Shift TG with ZMT loop and some other mods on the chasis. Besides that, some other SFF builds also influenced this build.
Why I use ZMT, it was because I want to get the flexibility and ease of access when the time to upgrade hardwares has come.
The GPU was taken from my air cooled system by the way.   I'm not a big fan of RGB but I don't mind to have it. In this build the RGB are only at CPU block logo, GPU block Radeon logo, Ram module, and reservoir, but I guess, I won't turn on the RGB on the reservoir.
This build took me from the start since October 2019 due to my job schedule which makes me to leave home for several weeks before I come back and work on this build, even then it hasn't finished yet. It still needs some little work to be 100% complete.

This build is the most difficult for me by far. Modded the case for the first time, custom loop for the first time, and the case characteristics itself does add difficulties, but all those experience are so worth it. Initially I was planing to use EK DDC X-Top pump without using reservoir and I thought that to fill the loop without reservoir will be a PITA for a beginner like me, while using a reservoir will be a PITA at configuring the placement of the pump and reservoir knowing that I will use a long GPU. I was grateful that this build took me a long time in the process that allowed me to flex along that time frame. Gentlemen, a random EK-Quantum Kinetic FLT 120 appeard in my local market in the middle of this journey, EKWB released this awesome stuff, and this combo made the difference from my initial plan. This awesome pump-res combo gave me new and fresh idea to reconfigure the build.   My setup is a ship wreck so I'm not going to post it, just the build.
This build is a solid challange and a creativity catalist for me personally who never mod a case and never do liquid on a PC. I dare to say that I'm a totally beginner in both of these area, so I'm very open to any critique about it

TLDR, here the actual build that I put my best effort on it,   SLIVER GLINT   CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X   Motherboard: Gigabyte X570 I Aorus Pro WiFi   Memory: G.Skill Trident Z Neo 3600 MHz   Storage: Intel 660P Series, 500 GB & 1 TB   Graphics: Sapphire Radeon RX 5700 XT   PSU: Corsair SF600 Platinum   Case: Phanteks Evolv Shift TG   Fans: Noctua NF-F12 (2x), NF-A14, NF-A12x15   Cooling: EKWB ZMT Tubing, Velocity Strike RGB, Vector RX 5700 +XT Special Edition, and Fittings.     Brushed front panel. It came from fully black Evolv Shift. Bare aluminium with few layers of glossy clear coating.                 ZMT tubings           Guess what..     The EK-Quantum Kinetic FLT 120 DDC!                                                     I must admit that I struggled so hard on the cable management.
I was about to make fully custom sleeved cables, but I hold my back to see if I can stuffed all those wide spread combed cables on such narrow spaces. But let's see..                 I sealed all the openings around the front radiator fan, and the one on the bottom also got the same treatment to enhance the air intake.                                   The fan & aRGB hub still loose, not fix yet.                             This one needs to prove its functionality on this configuration. I'm still 50/50 on this.     Dry leak testing. This tool work like a charm!

Yet again, I'll restate that they had initial deadlines, goals, and features stated that would be the "finished" game in 2014. Finished. Finished and met goals does not equal unfinished in any stretch of the imagination.

Going back to making UAVs, you get the customer to tell you what applications they need it for, you ask for a certain amount of money to complete the project by a deadline, then they stay the hell away from R&D and you do your job. You match the deadline and ship to the customer.
As long as you meet or exceed the needs both parties initially agreed upon, it is 100% finished. Any further improvements or development are extra and come after that, not before. You don't let your customer come in and say "Well if it can fly 10 pounds, then surely it can fly 20 right? I want it to fly 20 pounds. For 7 hours."
No. It doesn't work that way. That's a complete redesign and scrap of all your previous work, and then when you get it set to carry 20 pounds they come in asking for 30.

6 years past your deadline and you've never gotten off the ground because you didn't stick to your initial goals because your customer is a dipshit. And you're both probably out of money. But hey, at least there's constant progress so your customer isn't absolutely infuriated because he's the cause of every single delay.

    You seem to not like Forbes, but based on this article in reference to an article on the Escapist, that's exactly what's happening at CIG;
    https://www.forbes.com/sites/jasonevangelho/2015/10/01/report-star-citizen-is-almost-out-of-cash-and-chris-roberts-insatiable-ambition-is-to-blame/#2517ca5d5eed
The original article on Escapist has been pulled because CIG threatened to sue Escapist, demanded a public apology, and a third party investigation into the articles. The article itself has apparently been reinforced as to it's sources.
    https://www.forbes.com/sites/jasonevangelho/2015/10/04/star-citizen-developer-threatens-lawsuit-against-the-escapist-demands-apology-and-retraction/#79c956c817b1

    And that was 2015.

Heh, fair enough, I just find it amusing you can buy some pixels for 27k.
I did a bit a researching on what 27k would get me, instead of the pixel ships and the results were enlightening.

For example, I could buy a used Ferrari for less than that. In fact, I did some years a go, for 15k I bought a 308GT4, which would have left me enough money for an engine rebuild (about 9k) and enough left over for a nice re-spray...or I could buy some pixel ships.
I called up the local brothel and asked what it would cost for an "anything goes" evening. It was 1K. So for half a year, once a week, I could get anything goes from the best in the business....or I could buy some pixel ships.
I could get the interior or my house redone, new flooring, new windows, deck with jacuzzi AND inground swimming pool for 27K...or I could buy some pixel ships.
I could take a round the world cruise to some of the most exotic destinations and take pics (I'm a photographer) that will last a lifetime, and perhaps even sell them...or I could buy some pixel ships.
I could rent a house on the beach for the week in the peak of summer, hire some models for a photoshoot, treat everyone for food, buy outfits for the entire week, or I could buy some pixel ships.

I can see where the dilemma is coming from!
    Cheers mate!

Not naysaying the game, I could not care less about it, not into star sims, I"m pointing out that's a lot of dosh (and it goes way up from there) for a game that's in alpha. You're paying for the privilege of finding bugs....they should be paying you, not the other way around.

Lot Qahnaarin reacted to Mira Yurizaki in Best Archival Storage Solution?
The only other option if you don't want to do tapes and are paranoid about SSDs and HDDs is archival grade optical disks, which is impractical given your total data size. So let's set some records straight.

SSDs do potentially have the issue of losing data sooner than HDDs, but this fear was likely stoked by a study testing the worst case situation (https://www.pcworld.com/article/2925173/debunked-your-ssd-wont-lose-data-if-left-unplugged-after-all.html)

As for HDDs, well I'll defer to this post: https://superuser.com/questions/284427/how-much-time-until-an-unused-hard-drive-loses-its-data

Both situations can be mitigated by checking the storage media regularly. Which I argue you should do anyway to verify the archive is still good.

To be honest - that laptop looks like it can handle Microsoft Word and struggles with anything else that is more demanding.
It has close to no benefits from upgrading since every part of it lacks performance by ANY means of today's games.
If he jsut needs it for old games and internet/office, keep it as it is. If he wants to do anything else with it - go for a new laptop.

It'll look even better with the Deep Cool stuff in it, and I'll have my other HDD back because the Enermax Cooler that isn't pictured(will be uploaded on my lunch) is currently being powered by Sata or the lights are Sata not sure which one it is. so I'll have it uniformed with everything else.

    Slight correction here.
Its really not rare, its very common. Whether u notice it or not is another thing.
It doesnt happen due FPS being higher than ur monitors native refresh rate. It happens due to de-sync between GPU and Monitor as such it can and does happen at ANY frame rate if a from of 'sync' isnt enabled.
Frame rate caps dont fix the issue, just mitigate it somewhat. A 'Sync' of some form is the only 'fix'.

Wtf they didn't even ask for their money back though I guess 100,000 dollars to uber is like nothing. I guess uber really didn't want people to know about the breach and how did uber not only find out who they are but knew where to find them? Shit an uber hitman might show up at my house next week because I posted this. If i mysteriously stop posting you guys know what happened. But this is crazy uber found out who they were and tracked them down just to have them sign NDAs XD. Uber should have taken them to the police imagine if the headline instead was uber tracks down hackers, shows up at their house and hauls them to the police station. People would be like dang uber's badass I ain't even mad my information got stolen. ... Ok maybe they'd still be mad but still.
