Okay so unless I experience any issues I should just skip installing drivers, except for the graphics card. Thanks for the reply.

I recommend downloading Nvidia or AMD drivers for your dedicated graphics card. Other drivers aren't neccessary unless something is not running properly.

It just means it will support memory OC'd at 3000MHz, doesn't mean a faster kit would not work. And Ryzen 3000 ready means it can support 3rd gen Ryzen, but all your parts are compatible. Although I would recommend changing a few things. What is your budget and location?

It's a pretty bad motherboard, try to get at least a B450. No availability on the 1600AF? How much is the 3300x? RAM isn't bad. It's fine. There aren't really "faster" HDDs. They're all about the same as long as you have a 7200rpm one. Overpriced, more like it. Get something else that's NVME but cheaper. Or drop the HDD, get a SATA SSD in a 1TB size. Not bad. Nothing special. Don't get a cheap PSU. You certainly can afford a better one, by cutting back in other areas or downgrading a bit. There's no point in building an awesome system that could die if the PSU fails. This is especially true if you live in an older house. Don't bother quoting US pricing. It's not at all relevant to you.

The motherboard and PSU present major potential problems.  It could work.  I could also not work and cause massive expensive headaches.

One issue with the motherboard/PSU/ram combo is BOTH the motherboard and the cpu need to handle 3000mhz memory.  Iirc the 2600  will go up to 3200mhz memory.  I’m not sure of that though.  Needs to be double checked.  I am MUCH less sure your a320 will do it though.  Again needs to be checked.

    Nope,  b450M minimum.

Not worth saving money on a shitty MOBO, it will cause a lot of issues down the road.

Why? even Bronze 80+ will give you much better reliability.

Hawick reacted to PlayStation 2 in XBOX360E or XBOX360S?
    1. Neither console is prone to RRoDing; if it does happen, it's a very rare occurrence and the hardware is genuinely fucked.
    2. Xbox 360 Es run cooler. It's essentially the final die shrink of the Xbox 360, which allows it to output less heat.
    3. Never particularly noticed the power bricks of the S or E models prematurely fail. I know older-model power bricks for the bigger Xbox 360 models are a little prone to failure, but by the S, they sorted that shit out mostly.
    4. Probably the E. That being said, the S model isn't ridiculously loud, but you're most likely to hear the disc drive doing its thing.
    5. Yes you can. Because the Xbox 360 will enable or disable HDCP automatically (basically as necessary), capture cards that can't accept an HDCP-encrypted signal (which is about all of them) will still take an Xbox 360's HDMI signal. This is something I can confirm personally.

I'd personally vouch for a matte model Xbox 360 S. Glossy consoles fucking suck and the matte 360 S is a lot less vulnerable to looking like shit if you can't keep it dusted off all the time.

Because I don't like Windows 10 and chances are, I'll never like it. When Windows 10 will be the last working OS that's left, I'll switch to Linux and I'll use Wine to emulate Windows games or I'll simply stop playing PC games. Windows 10 is utter garbage (that's my own personal opinion, don't feel attacked please) and therefore I'll avoid using it.

I wanna install Windows 7 on my rig. My Motherboard: GIGABYTE Z97X Gaming 7 Rev 1.0

I was just downloading the drivers from the original manufacturer page and I came across this file right here:

    marvell preinstall driver

It's some SATA controller stuff that has to be loaded before Windows 7 Installation. When I checked these files, I saw two folders in it:
    - amd64
    - i386

My CPU is x64 and I'm gonna install x64 version of Windows 7 ofc. Since I know x86 means 32 bit I'm guessing the "i386" is the 32 bit folder and the other one is 64 bit and I need the 64 bit one. But why does it say "AMD64"? I don't have any AMD components in my PC. I only got Intel and NVIDIA. My cpu is Intel i5-4460.

Can anyone help? Should I install this thing?

i am also a big fan of win 7 over win 10. nothing was improved, it is from my experience less stable than my win 7 builds. the start menu and the stupid tablet and touch options are not even useful on a desktop or even a laptop.

Depends on what you want to do.  Ryzen is slower single thread for single thread.  It’s got more cores per dollar and those cores tend to multithread better.  In general currently price/performance is better for ryzen currently.

look at intel website and check their i7 cpu's and decide what gen you want and then check what socket and chipset that it uses and find a motherboard that meets the requirements.

It's a 1660 with 14Gbps GDDR6 instead of the 8Gbps GDDR5 on the regular 1660. It makes it just a hair behind the 1660Ti in performance for a $10 higher MSRP than the regular 1660 (and $50 cheaper than 1660Ti).

Hawick reacted to WereCat in PS4 Built-in recorder better than Shadowplay?
Which graphics card do you have?
Also I dont use ShadowPlay so I dont know all the settings you can set there besides FPS, Resolution and Bitrate but if you decide to use NVENC in OBS Studio, you have few more options to set that will affect the quality quite a bit.

Older generation of NVIDIA cards use older NVENC chips and they capture in lower quality.
The new Turing cards do have a very nice quality with their NVENC capture and are comparable to some of the more demanding CPU x264 settings.

IDK what the PS4 uses for capture but as is mentioned under me, its likely some other chip that is dedicated for capture. I dont think PS4 uses CPU x264 as that would limit game performance and the AMD x264 encoder is of lower quality than NVENC so it would not explain the quality difference.

Hawick reacted to Mira Yurizaki in PS4 Built-in recorder better than Shadowplay?
Shadowplay uses NVENC, which I believe is fixed function so you're stuck with what it offers. This is as opposed to x264, which is purely software and allows for more flexibility.

I don't know what Sony uses on the PS4, but it's likely offloaded to the secondary processor as I presume the requirement would be to allow for recording without degrading in-game performance.

Probably using VCE which AMD has used for years to grab the encoding. I expect it to be similar quality to old Nvenc.

THANK YOU. I can see DESKTOP-VU5... listed there. Thanks, champ. It might have been caused by the fact that I used to have Windows 10 where I logged into my google account but I have Windows 7 now. Windows 10 creates such computer names. Thanks again. Problem solved.
