This is a very old machine.  You may be having actual age related issues which aren’t common with PCs because they rarely last long enough. 
 
How do you get a BSOD if there is no display for a BSOD  to appear on?  I am confused.

What are safe ways to overclock a HDD? My HDD is very slow.

I mean the only CPU requirement Android Studio Emulator states is... "64bit CPU ready" so using Intel's fastest mainstream CPU today definitely should be a good alternative for smooth experience.

Hi I currently have a q6600 with ddr2 ram, so a 10 year old computer... my GPU is MSI 7850HD, pretty decent. When 3700X comes out, I will finally update, get 16 or 32 GB of ram ddr4 and a SSD.
 
My little bro wants to record some fortnite and minecraft gameplays, of course no way to record fortnite, but not even minecraft can be properly recorded with my current setup (it struggles, lag, fps goes down when I press "record" in bandicam)
 
So my question is, if I update CPU and ram and hard disk to SSD, is it possible to record these games smoothly at 1080p 60fps or I will still have problems because I didn't upgrade the GPU?
 
Also what software should be used to record gameplay? I just have a old version of bandicam so im not sure.
 
Do people still use external recorders? I remember people back then used to buy recording cards but im not sure if this is deprecated because modern cpus are strong enough.
