Rad thanks. I figured, but thought I'd check with the forum in case I missed something silly.

The difference between European socialism and American socialism is that America is a massive country with a population and size closer to the likes of something like Russia or China. Smaller countries with small populations like Finland, Sweden, Estonia, etc are small and nimble enough, and the citizenry educated enough that they can regulate themselves without things getting out of hand. America, on the other hand, is a different story. It's so big and unwieldy, with the decisions of so few people affecting the lives of such massive numbers of politically apathetic or ignorant people that the incentives to be corrupt are too great. Countries as big as America in both area, population size and distribution are too big for socialism to result in anything other than what you have in China or Russia. Mostly because too few people are in unchallenged and unaudited charge of so many.

That's also why we need guns, because the establishment is so at risk of becoming corrupt, possibly even hostile to its constituents, that the people need to be able to overthrow an oppressive government if they feel the need to. No guns would be nice, but in a country this large, that is a very unrealistic thought. We need people to be able to defend themselves.
Don't get me wrong, European Socialism would be a much less terrible way to go if the country were split up in such a way that each state functioned as its own independent country, but the Civil War stopped that from ever being a possibility.

Early college for the win, every semester ( 16 weeks, with a 6 week winter break ) we get the latest and greatest books. Nothing is outdated,Though I do have too choose classes that go towards Highschool until my credits are fulfilled, which will be 3 more semesters, I still can take like C#, A+ Certification, Computer diagnostic and Repair, photoshop classes, video game design, and hundreds more.

The Hyper 212 is pretty universally considered great, especially at $30. If I air cooled, I'd probably be using that.
Just took a look, and that is actually pretty nice. CAS 10 and the same price as most of the 1600 MHz kits. Good find, man.
As for Fallout 4, it is a pretty recent game and AMDs drivers have been lagging behind a bit lately, so maybe look out for that.
Overclocking doesn't have enough of an effect that you should ignore it, in my opinion. If you plan on upgrading your GPU every 2-3 years, it'd be totally fine.

If it's in the budget, you might also get a bigger HDD. I don't regret going 3TB at all. The Seagate Barracuda 3TB drives were about $85 last I checked, so it's not much more for triple the space. Oh, is it worth it, though.

If I were you, I'd look for a different SSD. In my experience, the SSDNow V300 series doesn't perform well compared to its competitors.

I'd change out the cooler for a bigger one, like a Hyper 212 Evo.
The memory could go down to a 1600 MHz kit, if you're just gaming.
The Kingston V300 Now is slow these days, there are other options near that pricepoint which would be better with either higher capacity or better performance. The speed is why I have two in RAID 0, though the capacity is also something to consider.
The GPU you got does trade blows with a 390, though the 390 more commonly wins out. If you're not overclocking, go with the 390, if you are, get a well cooled 970 and overclock the hell out of it.
I'd go with a bigger power supply if it's in the budget. 750W is nice for future headroom, such as if you ever want to do 2-way SLI/X-Fire.
Don't get an OEM OS if you plan on ever upgrading. They're cheaper, but changing motherboards is a giant pain in the ass. Had that issue myself.
I'd get an internal WiFi adapter, honestly. Saves a USB port.

Edit: Wifi adapter on the internal makes sense, too. The motherboard you chose has a PCIe 1x above the 16x slot, almost precisely for something like a WiFi card.

And I'm going to bring back up that this case is basically free for them, and no one is going to use it for their actual rig, unless it's on a GarageSale. But even if that's the case(heh), it'll probably be super cheap and still in pretty good condition. I mean, look at the Define R4 unboxing. They literally left it in the rain for "lols" and no amount of saying that the case was treated poorly is going to change the fact that they shot an AX1500i from a slingshot off the roof of the office.

Wait, how is he supposed to re-film an unboxing? That's just the sort of stuff that happens when you are recording your initial reactions, you can't just fake it for a second recording. I'll harkon back to the WAN show from this Friday and mention that the only reason the side panel came off is that the screws were so short that the self-retaining ring around it didn't allow the screw to go in far enough to stay on. The screw is too short, so the panel fell off.

Similarly, I have something of an issue with this topic complaining about a video you haven't seen yet. In the WAN show, he says the the case got a few minutes where he talked about what he saw outright. The Define S seems to be focused on water cooling support, but frankly, LTT doesn't do much water cooling stuff these days. JayzTwoCents definitely fills that void for me, but I don't feel that any more than an unboxing really warrants the differences that are rather minor in the eyes of the general consumer, or fresh member of the PC community.

Abir Vandergriff got a reaction from Indus Monk in How many cores do you need for gaming in 2015?
Except that really isn't the case. It depends very heavily on the game. If the game loads only a single core, or puts a lot of stress on a single core, it doesn't matter if you have 4, 6, 8, 16, 24, or 100 cores. You'll still have massive stuttering problems since CPU performance mostly effects minimum framerates. For modern Triple-A games, you *need* four cores with strong performance. This is why the Pentium G3258 (two really strong cores) overclocked to 5GHz still doesn't perform particularly well in games that are heavily multithreaded. The Pentium would be fine for most lower-grade games, or older games because they're more likely to be single-threaded.
Along that same spectrum, an older Athelon x4 750K is going to have a similarly hard time with minimum framerates because of it's poor single thread performance. It's really good for when it was released. It has 4 cores, but it's actually been benched worse than a stock clocked G3258.

It really depends on what system your buying and what settings your running it at.

You can run games on Dual Core CPUs with little issue with up to Medium Settings and still get alright FPS however if your going for High/Ultra Settings then a Quad Core or higher.

Its the same with any tech you use, its all down to how you use it.

The 980 is more powerful than the a 780Ti, however, what you're asking about is not entirely true because of the architecture change from Kepler to Maxwell. Maxwell is far more power efficient than Kepler was, and the easiest way to spitball power consumption is the pin requirements. 780Ti cards usually require two 8-pin power connectors, or one 6 and one 8 pin power connectors. A 980 will usually require one 6 and one 8 pin connector, with dual 8-pin being on cards that have beefier power designs for overclocking. If I remember, I've also seen a 980 with dual 6 pin. 850W is more than enough, and should give you some headroom for that future 980 when the system starts dipping below the performance you want.

Oh those pesky wall outlets. They'd get me every time I moved my PC if I wasn't completely over the top about plugging fully into a power strip every single time. Usually what gets me instead is the connector to the PSU not being pushed in enough.
