And yes. my cpu turbos to the advertised 4.6GHz and it remains perfectly cool staying under 50C all times after the service uninstall. Before this, the CPU would touch 60C to 70C sometimes 80C while doing nothing. But, now the laptop is cool and doesnt heat up during charging. It was i guess windows service scheduler that was causing all this

Dude. I should have then saved my 10yr old intel pentium system with just 1gb ram. I could have gotten double the money. Look guys. It runs windows 95/95/me/2000/xp/vista/7/8/8.1 and 10. All the operating systems ae installed on the hard drive pre loaded. Just for the sum of 10 million.

I still remember my first gaming pc. It survived from 2006-2018. 12 yrs and it was my favorite pc yet. It was a pentium e2140 dual core with 1gb ddr2 667mhz ram. It was in 2016 that i swapped the 1gb ram for a 2gb one. I also got the 120gb toshiba hdd changed for a 1tb WD blue HDD. Just a few months after that, the gigabyte ga-945gcmx-s2 motherboard was swapped out for a chinese brand zebronics. The gigabyte board died due to a shoddy capacitor which i tried soldering back on. This was one of my favorite systems till date. It survived numerous windows installs also. Windows 95,98,ME,2000,XP,Vista,Windows 7,Windows 8,windows 8.1 and finally windows 10. Fascinating, i even ran virtual machines on it but those were for old operating systems. It was in 2018 that the chinese board also died and i was not getting a board for my system. That is when i purchased an AMD ryzen for my daily work. 
 
On that 12yrs old system, I used to play Halo,nfsmw,nfsu2,cs1.6,cs source,half life 1 and 2. It was a pretty good experience with the 640*480 resolution and the lowest possible setting.
And till today, i miss that system very much. I still have the cpu and ram working actually. So if i get a board, im ready to bring it back to life and make an arcade emulation box or htpc. 
Windows at that time had good ram management tricks and took up only 619mb out of the 1gb installed.

Have you tried using the onboard graphics if you have? If it persists you might want to contact acer for a replacement

Then it is good. As long as it is upgradable the ram and the storage, then it is a good choice. Go for it

now, this may be the extremely intoxicated state im in right now, i may have a problem; but, shady prawn sites only really get to you if you click on ads or if you try to download the video advertised to you. 
 
I ain' gonna lie, but like you do you buddy. If you can only find your kicks on weird places then power to you pal for finding something that makes you happy, just be smart about it and dont click ads or download stuff lol. And when your browser confirms if you want to download getter-144667.exe just dont click accept lol.
 
Now i say that because i myself in my search for the perfect midi have been confronted with a getter download multiple times lol. Just dont do it lmao, good things dont come out of it.

Likely no, traces sure, but extremely doubtful anything harmful was left, just crumbs hinting at what was there.
Just pickup a free AV and be done with it lol, then stop going to shady porn sites and especially dont click ads. I know hot single moms in your area want your d, but dont pay the price of russian super viruses.

Once a case happened with me. Had kaspersky internet security 2018 installed. I had downloaded an email attachment by mistake which infected one file. That one file then went on spreading to the other files on the drive infecting each and everything. Kaspersky as soon as it repaired one file would detect the other file to be infected. Had to download their rescue tool and boot into it to get rid of that file. 

i had compared both in one store nearby me. I found the HP one to be the best suited for me. Plus i would be thinking of upgrades as i have heard the xps 15 is not upgradable and the HP one i mentioned is with ram ssd and hdd upgrades

And why do I think that email is not even from amazon. Instead of telling you to change your password to be on the safer side, they are telling you to not change it and be happy. Its really suspicious to see a online shopping site to not tell you to change your password and just forget it.
