i dont think you have to in this case since it was caught before it was downloaded

it's good practice to format your computer once in a while though, rid of junks and stuffs

Just run a malware scan, preferably with something that's not Windows Defender just for confirmation's sake.
There's really no need to format/reinstall over malware unless it managed to cause actual damage.

Hey there. Hope you're doing well. By the sound of things, you should be okay. I know viruses can seem super scary and all. I personally think you're fine and you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Defender found it and got rid of it. I'd delete that file in your downloads folder though if it hasn't been already. MS Defender has gotten super good over the years, to the point where that is the only thing I use other than common sense. If you have any super important info, it's good practice to back it up and if you're super worried, go for the reinstall. I really don't think it's necessary though.
Hope you have fun on Minecraft

When you drop the quality settings (either to High in game or using Geforce Experience to assign better performance settings) do you still have stuttering?
    Is your CPU overclocked?

I get the exact same stutter issues playing BF V on my 2080 ti. No matter what settings I change or reinstalling drivers/game could fix it. And that's on raid 0 Samsungs. For me, I believe it's related to just BF V, as I get no issues in any other games. That and a quick google shows that a lot of people complain about stuttering in this game. I just play through it now unfortunately, but still hold out hope that it gets fixed.

I've tried DX11 and DX12, though with DX12 and DLSS I get much better performance it's just that the stutter is still there. Strange you loose performance.

You need more voltage, bfv hits your cpu harder than prime 95.

Furmark, 3dmark, heaven or valley benchmark, maybe even just benchmarks in a few games if they have them

No, assuming you gave the card sufficiently long to "bake in" while playing the game.
Supposedly there's a hardware voltage limiter to prevent this. Otherwise the GPU's firmware has a soft-cap.
Yes. That's supposedly the design temperature for NVIDIA GPUs anyway. It's when the GPU approaches 100C or thermal throttles (i.e., cannot maintain base clocks) when it becomes a problem.

Overclocking to the point of damage is likely impossible in the world of GPU boost.  The drivers and firmware have voltage and temp limits in place to keep damage from happening.

At worst you will have to reboot and lower your overclock.

Stress testing is still a good idea.  Having a hard lock or game crash when playing online or when you haven't saved is a PITA.

Or just run Furmark/Kombustor built in to MSI Afterburner since you mentioned you're using that. It's the K somewhere in the interface.

This is not an isolated case for you. Other forum users has recently reported such occurrence, even after updating to the latest driver.
The explanation is that Z370 is a retooled Z270 chipset with updated Intel Management Firmware (Z170 & Z270 use 11.7, Z370 uses 11.8, Z390 uses 12.0. Notice the minor revision between 100/200 series and Z370 and the major revision to Z390). That also explains why it did not support native USB 3.1 and was built on 22 nm rather than 14 nm.

I don't remember the threshold off the top of my head  but usually, if you're below 80C it should reach max turbo as long as your not power limited if you want to learn more you could read Gamers nexus article which goes in depth about intel's turbo implementation on the 8000 series

Intel turbo boost doesn't have to be supported by anything, it's just the CPU raising the clock speed. So no matter what you do, turbo boost will work.
