I hope this story brings a smile to some faces, and please share any stories you have of improvising with the PC,
 
So I dabble in the use of controller from time to time, my xbox 360 controller broke while I was playing dark souls, that was some time ago. I have been playing the Witcher 3 lately and found the PC controls a bit clunky, so I decided to buy myself a new xbox one controller and give that ago.
 
I got it yesterday and its been great... Almost. See up until now when I have used a controller I have played games that are void of the feature by luck or are platforms and save constantly by nature. That feature being quick save. Now that I am playing a game with quick save the controller was driving me nuts. I have quick saving so ingrained into my brain I have to press it every few minutes. My room mate saw me using the controller and made remarks, "couldn't resit?"... He is a avid console gamer and we constantly give each other stick.
 
So today I decided to solve the problem, I had work off and spare time, I refuse to let go of the controller every 2 minutes to hit a key on my keyboard... I might as well use that. First I tried xpadder and my aim was to rebind or macro the xbox logo button itself... didn't work... I tried looking at what layout W3 used and find a key I could sacrifice, select could of worked as its used for the pause/menu. But I refused to compromise, that's not the PC way!
 
Later my room mate comes home and sees me using the controller playing Witcher 3 quite content, he comments, "see a little compromise and your having fun and relaxing, its not so bad". Then he looks down and notices my foot moving, "O for the love of god" and I burst out laughing. He ended up walking out of the room shaking his head "PC Gamers".
 
Unwilling to sacrifice any button or reach for the keyboard I decided to use xpadder for a difference reason. After dusting off my Fanatec clubsport peddles I use for sim racing I quickly was able to rebind the accelerator to F5, Brake is Inventory to save having to dive though to many menus, and clutch for the character sheet. I have my cake and I get to eat it too.

1. Buy a Panto or a Elegy(in-game phone on the Internet) and mod it as much as possible
2. Put the car in your garage
3. Fill up the garage until it's full
4. Pull out the car you want to dupe and leave it outside
5. Go inside the garage and there should be an open spot, go to the back where a blue circle is and manage your cars, put a car in the empty spot
6. WALK outside the garage and drive the car back into the garage, it'll say you need to replace a car just click Enter to agree
7. Replace the car that you switched to the empty spot
8. Get in the car again and drive outside and do steps 5-8 until your garage is completely duped
 
It's recommended to get a 10 car garage to dupe a lot and easily, but any garage with more than 2 spots should be okay.

if you have a wired controller, put it behind your pc so she'll think its plugged it (worked with my niece haha). If you only have a wireless one just give it to her and give her some instructions and thats it.
You can play any gta and just drive eround, maybe she like explosions, my niece laughed at them

The beautiful art and more mature story themes compared to most games made Valkira Chronicals one of my favorite games of all time.
 
I can't wait to see the game at higher res with some AA and a solid frame rate.

After I played The Vanishing of Ethan Carter, I thought that was the prettiest game I played but Ryse takes the cake. The vegetation by far the best than any game I played. 
 
It's not as bad as some 3/10 reviews I've seen but it's not a 8/10 either.
It's a shallow game, if this was more like Dark Souls or Witcher, Crytek wouldn't face bankruptcy.
 
 

 
 
It's not a QTE fest that some made it out to be. Again, it's not a great game but it doesn't the deserve the hate it got either.
I've finished it already, it's a fairly short game. While the production values are certainly there, it felt like it had a strict deadline to meet.
The story goes into warp speed at the beginning only to stay at a crawling space the rest of it.
I don't regret buying it since this was my farewell gift to Crytek. I loved Far Cry and Crysis but while they kept making the games looking better, the gameplay was getting worse.
Crysis was their peak, some would argue that Far Cry was their most complete games overall.
 I recommend picking it up when it goes on sale. A 280 and above run it surprisingly well, the stories about needing at least 2 GPU's are simply not true.

He grabs my case with his powerful and large hands and puts it on it's side.
I'm ready.
i open my side panel.
I install the h100i.
it bearly fits but i tuck it in for Luke.
i can hear the case cringe as i'm mounting the radiator.
i mount the pump on the cpu.
i want to satisfy Luke.
The pc roars as Luke turns on the pc.
Linus walks in.
Luke looks him straight in the eyes ans says ''it's LukeMediaGroup now''
Luke leaves trough the windows.
Luke is Love, Luke is Life.

I never wanted to stop playing The Walking Dead when I did my playthrough, and the same goes for The Wolf Among Us. Both have amazing stories and I've never felt so attached to a character before.

I'd say Borderlands 2 will keep you hooked and so will something like hearthstone if you can unlock all the heroes.

I think it is you getting older. I went through the same spell when I turned 17, I wanted to play games but nothing just clicked with me. Took me 5 years before I started getting into it again, now it comes and goes in spurts. Like right now, I have 158 games on my computer I could be playing, but instead I'm on this forum. Why? Because I'm just in a spurt where I don't feeling like playing much.

Set it to record in mono. You really don't need two channels for a cardioid condensor mic.
 
Right click sound thing at bottom right in the toolbar whatevermajig, click "Recording Devices", right click your microphone, properties, then under advanced, set it to "One channel, 44100 hertz" or whatever is one channel. Should make it so your voice isn't prodding just one side of your friends' heads.

The Witcher games are great as well. Try the Dragon Age games too. There's also the Darksiders games which is on hold since THQ died and Vigil Games had to be disbanded. Try to play through them all if you can; I just voted Bioshock just because.

Go to your local office depot, or staples or whatever. Find the chair section. Sit your ass down in a chair, and find what's comfortable. I sell chairs at work and that's my advice. 

I do that with Sleeping Dogs. Listen to the radio, practice my punches, go out and eat noodles.
