i'd be skeptical that whoever installed them wouldn't fade away into obscurity like every single other niche medical implanted tech company. But who knows maybe you'll beat the odds. It's not like a giant company can just go bankrupt suddenly leaving people with proprietary useless implants that don't conform to any common standards or anything.

the basic idea is a shop vac can generate static electricity but if everything is grounded then it'll be fine. there's an ltt video showing just how difficult it is to kill modern components with static shocks anyway.

why do you want to change the board to add ram slots vs just replacing the ram you currently have with a higher amount

nope thats dead , youll have to send it to drive savers and pay a lot to have them resolder the chips onto a replacement board

you don't have to , if its the correct driver then wifi is now functional and you just connect to a network normally

we had a 1960s plymouth that also had that feature , the keys could not be locked in the car ever.

in order to lock the door , the key had to be turned in the outside keyhole thus preventing the key from being in the car when locked. Couldn't even lock the door then close it because the lock would pop up if you tried. Dont know why every car isn't like that , peak mechanical design.
