No. Do you mean the bios by control panel?

No. Ignore the BIOS, it is irrelevant.

Set it up during Windows set up if it offers it. If not, use wired temporarily

I just built my first pc and installed windows 11 pro, but now i need internet to set up the rest of the pc. It only shows one option saying "use ethernet cable" even though i have a wifi mobo. How do i make my wifi mobo do wifi?

Is there any way to do that in the bios?

nope , the bios has nothing to do with the operating system or drivers.

So should i just temporarily use an ethernet cable to get into windows to download the driver?

Windows likely has a generic driver installed already that will work well enough to get online. Have you tried to enable wifi in the control panel?

Hook up using a ethernet cable, download and install your Windows updates, restart your PC and enable wifi.

There is likely an option in bios to enable/disable wifi.

you don't have to , if its the correct driver then wifi is now functional and you just connect to a network normally
