jpfeif got a reaction from ZacoAttaco in YouTube Outage
Everything is broken, 8.8.8.8 is also down. Changed to 1.1.1.1 I think google may have started a feed back loop with their DNS service. Therefore, google messed up real bad.

I have a Toughpower grand 750 watt which I really like. I bought it on sale though so it might not be worth it.

jpfeif got a reaction from TankError144 in First Time PC Build Questions
Umm... ryzen? I would change the sata ssd for a PCI-E m.2880 form factor I would also use a 1920*1080 144hz and have two 2560*1440 at 60hz. and maybe a 1070 unless you are going for future profuseness then I think the 1080ti would be good.

jpfeif got a reaction from Ordinarily_Greater in First Time PC Build Questions
Because Autodesk stuff really likes a lot of cores and ryzen has the best price to performance so you can get over six cores for less then a 7700k and is already unlocked. Don't be an Intel fanboy be a smart person.

You are not watching the WAN show. Nikey V is leaving LMG to work on bike stuff but he should move on to bigger and better things for himself.

jpfeif got a reaction from VicRik in Will a Ryzen 1600 bottleneck my MSI GeForce GTX Gaming 1080 8G?
Probably not, if any thing it would probably help the performance because it has more cores and threads than any consumer intel one right now.

jpfeif got a reaction from Slazyel in Upgrade CPU?
I would recommended the Ryzen 7 or 5 a 1700x or a 1600x not because I am an AMD fan boy I am actuality a Intel loyalist but you get more price to pref with Ryzen 7 or 5 because it has 8 or 6 cores and that is better then 4.

Having tried both for an extended period I think that the Vive is better because if room scale and the tracking of where the controllers are compared to the headset.
