    oh. my. god....

my MacBook is working again. i decided to try it again, being drunk with nothing to do. so i put an ssd in it that it previously didn't even want to format, and i just booted to recovery and tried to install macOS. to my surprise, it installed flawlessly, and it seems to be fully fixed. everything is responsive, it's running just as nice as it did when i first got it.

i am so so so happy right now. i have my favorite computer back.

Twilight got a reaction from LukeSavenije for a status update, i'm using my LG G3 again. the wifi issue i was having before went away when i updated
i'm using my LG G3 again. the wifi issue i was having before went away when i updated LineageOS. i also have facial recognition now, on a phone from 2014!!!

also, i don't know what magic LineageOS has, but this phone now opens apps about as fast, and navigates around the OS faster than my iPhone 7 does.

i'm gonna use it for a few weeks, and if it remains stable i'm selling my iPhone.

ok so the reason why has a story behind it. about 4 years ago i bought a laptop from a friend who dropped it, so it had a cracked screen. i got it for a good price, and i removed the cracked display and used it as a desktop computer for a while because the specs were better than my pc at the time.

but, when i upgraded my pc i had no use for it so i put it on a shelf. now, 3.5 years later i got a broken laptop from someone who said i could have it. the issue with it was it didn't turn on. but, it did have a 17" display, which is also what the other laptop had. so, today i swapped the display and now i have a fully working laptop again.

i also repasted it because i remember it getting quite warm.

now, i have the perfect laptop for me. it has a 1600x900 17" display which is perfect for me because crappy eyes, it has a Core i5 M450 which is enough for what i do, a radeon GPU of some kind which is cool so i can game on the go, and i put 16gb of ram and a 500gb ssd in.

also it's plastic which is good because that makes it lightweight.

i'm gonna install Windows and Linux on it now.

i'm so glad i got it working
