If you are going to get a HDD dock to transfer files from a PC to a MAC
then you will have to have a HDD to put in it.
So that means you will have a minimum of three drives.
One in WIN PC, one in MAC,
and one to put in the USB connected HDD dock.
It is the drive that goes in the dock that gets formatted

hello does anyone have the after show video of UCI's games, specifically the one before finals ? I am asking because The analyst discussion had some underlining beef appearing to the audience, one caster calling out the center caster saying he would be fired tomorrow from the desk.

It's pretty simple. Just did it in 20 minutes while watching the Dodgers game. I wrote the first function for you since it sounds from the prompt like you should already have the logic for finding the minimum and maximum. The other function I put in place, and provided you with links where you can read up on how to write the super simple logic. It can probably be written in about 5 lines.

It's always fine to ask help, but honestly you should just learn the topic. If you don't want to learn then why are you in school?

Nipplemilk909 got a reaction from Alir in Javascript
create a javascript function called findMinMax. This function should take an array of numbers and return an array with two numbers which are the min and max values of the array that was passed in. Log the returned value to the console.Do NOT use the array sort method or any pre-written min and max javascript functions. You also do not need to write your own sort method to solve this problem unless you want too. It can be solved without sorting the array.

Don't waste your money. Home is perfectly fine as long as you clean install and bother looking through the settings, which seems to be too much for some people here...

Nipplemilk909 got a reaction from MrDynamicMan in Attacked by bees! near CSUSB
Had a crazy ass experience today getting attacked by a group of bees while I was hiking my schools mountains.

before this i was walking high as fuck to the observatory only to smoke some more.
after, I  headed towards the san andreas fault to look for a hidden place to chill at and on the way to there i encountered a new trail path which i just started getting followed by a bee
this bee was consistent and keept comming closer to me, mind you what i was wearing was a sweatshirt and beanie
after a few more steps forward i had a shit ton on my head and swarming above me
they where all landing and going for my head and where not wanting to go away
i seriously fkn panicd because the amount of bees and where they where targeting and no one or nothing to help me was around.
i was litterally fligging my arms around in the air and shaking my head in terror stripping away anything was wearing
ended up dropping my backpack my sweater my lighter my piece
and ran my ass way far to the point they where not around.
after getting away momentarily and going through a holy shit moment i devised a plan to get my stuff back
i figured id run back with my shirt on my head and collect my things quick
and not long before hearing more bees around me ( i swear these fkn bees where locked on me) i ran back with my shirt on my head mind you i had no shirt under so just shirt on hair and skin .
i ran back to the area i droped my stuff and was already getting bees on me but i just got my stuff real quick and ran my ass out of their
but wait my fkn piece, i left my piece back there
so i went back there now with my sweater zipped all the way and beanie on . got my piece and left.
i ended up stopping somewhere just to grab a breather and balance while smoking a bowl and i hear bees . this time just one bee flying around me

after a few stings on the head and forhead im ok , and getting ready tot take a midterm.
    tthank you

NVDIMMs are only supported on Server Motherboards at the moment (high end ones) from the likes of Tyan, SuperMicro, etc.

Don't be a dick. You knew what the OP was referring to, this just serves to make things more confusing. No laptop or home PC currently supports NVDIMMs or 3D xPoint. Also, the OP talked about wiping and cleaning his system. Again, we can get all technical and anal about how we talk about memory and the different types, but that doesn't help the OP in any way, especially if you look through his other threads.

The system memory in server motherboards is still system memory. And it's still RAM as well.

You are the one spreading misinformation here, creating confusion for OP and others.

And all the new 200 series chipsets do support 3DXPoint.

Nipplemilk909 reacted to Audio Carnage in modem/gateway vs router
Yes some run Linux, some run VxWorks and other RT operating systems.
This article mentions "routers" from Deutsche Telekom, which combine modem/FW/router/AP/Ethernet bridge. Most people don't get that, they just call it a modem or router. In reality these devices are all-in-one network appliances.

Again, as I was saying, this is no security issue, as long as you have a separate firewall and router that filters the traffic from your compromised modem.
The worst thing that could happen is that you lose connectivity to your ISP, because someone messed with your modem. But if your firewall is properly configured, attackers can't access the hosts in your LAN.

It is worse than just cutting off internet, that was only one incident there are many. They redirect your web traffic and send you to dodgy places, dodgy places that can attack every machine connected to your network. Theres also the risk of having your modem participate in DDoS. Please do not tell people there is no security issue with a compromised modem!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i wish i could post a LMGTFY link in this forum

Which Pi version, and how is it hooked up?

For a Pi Zero and only a Pi Zero, you can change a couple settings on your SD card to enable the Pi's use as an ethernet gadget, then you can SSH from PuTTY at the bonjour/zeroconf address "raspberrypi.local" (you may need to install bonjour if you're on Windows). https://learn.adafruit.com/turning-your-raspberry-pi-zero-into-a-usb-gadget/ethernet-gadget

If you have a Pi 3, say, and need to set up a WiFi or Bluetooth PAN connection, best bet would be to start by hooking the thing up to a keyboard, mouse, and monitor/TV until you can enter the network credentials (https://www.raspberrypi.org/documentation/configuration/wireless/wireless-cli.md) or set up a Bluetooth serial connection (http://raspberrypi.stackexchange.com/questions/23415/how-can-a-usb-bluetooth-dongle-be-used-as-login-tty). Thereafter you can SSH in.

If these aren't available or practical, you could connect the Pi and your laptop's ethernet port directly together, then connect to "raspberrypi.local" via bonjour/zeroconf.

And if none of these work, get one of these https://www.adafruit.com/products/954 to connect to the Pi over its serial UART.

For the CPU, you may want to go with the i5. For gaming, the CPU is not the main kicker, and that quad core is competent. For ram, you dont exactly need 32GB unless you intend to use Ramdisk or similar. I'd recommend 16 in a 2x8 configuration, since the i5 you listed is Dual Channel. For a black case, one that I am in love with is my Corsair Obsidian 450D, it has decent cooling out of the box with air filters on every intake, including the PSU's.
