Possibly depending on the rest of the system. and what 250w psu

Samsung has had these for a few years now, i believe there are even higher capacities like 32TB

You can't take someone else's settings and assume they work or be ideal with any confidence, silicon lottery is still a thing with the 9900k.

Snipergod87 got a reaction from lloose in What graphic card can you upgrade the hp Compaq dx6120 ST
Might work, that is much more modern than the GT210, and I am not sure if it supports legacy BIOS's

What kind of frame rate are you getting?
Have you tried DDU to remove and reinstall drivers.
And I doubt this is the issue but make sure the monitor is plugged into the video card and not the motherboard.

Supply and demand, not alot of demand, less supply, prices higher

Snipergod87 got a reaction from DocSwag in How to make my desktop PC mobile.
Not really feasible, even if you got the size small enough, you would need some sort of power source to power it (like on a bus you would need a battery, and inverter), and if you want your laptop to connect to it, it would need to allow video input, 99% of laptops only allow output, unless you want to do a local connection in which you would connect to a broadcasting wifi network from your desktop and control it through RDP or something.

    Try using bootcamp instead.
Gaming thru virtualization like that (I have done it) leads to terrible performance like sub 20 FPS, even with all the 3D acceleration boxes checked.

More datacenter centric stuff probably in relation into more endurance and consistent performance.  It wont effect your experience negatively

Snipergod87 got a reaction from LienusLateTips in Is my power supply sufficient for my setup
1.8kw PSU would trip anything but a 20amp circuit if max loaded in North america / any place with 120v output.  Also a 20amp power cable would not fit in most home american outlets
a 1000w standard 80 + gold without a name brand raises all sorts of red flags

A good 1kW PSU would be fine for that system

You should be able to put a 3rd Gen i5 in there or maybe i7 with a BIOS update depending on what BIOS revision you have, the latest BIOS is A14 from 2018

lets wait until we get some benchmarks really.
I dont know anything about DAW but maybe there are diminishing returns on CPU cores or it is more optimized for Intel Arch as opposed to AMD.

Snipergod87 got a reaction from XR6 in Is DDR3 Still Compettive?
For just the RAM upgrade no.

As a whole platform upgrade depends on how you use your system, but DDR4 is not the considering factor for an upgrade.

Download and install onto flash drive https://www.memtest86.com/
Run a memory diagnostic make sure you don't get any errors, this could take awhile depending on amount of memory and speed, go for at least 1 pass.

That would at least rule out any physical hardware defects with your RAM.
