The Tenth Amendment Center, a constitutional/libertarian think tank, spells out the how and why of eliminating expansion of the NSA and other federal enforcers by states passing legislation making it unlawful for a state to assist the feds. The article points to NSA data centers that requires massive amounts of water for cooling. This water happens to be provided by the individual states housing these data centers and if this legislation were to pass it would be unlawful for the state to continue to provide water to NSA data centers.

Built my own desk, nothing too fancy but I think it turned out very well and fits perfectly. The cable management is two 60mm desk gromits one behind the pc the other behind the screen and cables ran along some black guttering under the desk. Also have some RGB led lighting under the desk so I'll upload some pictures at night to show that off..

  Now this is something that isn't F@H related but I just want to mention this will be my last post mention any F@H news for a while and I'll be going quiet in general on the forum. 
 
  On the 12 of November, I'll be heading to Job Corps in pursuit of better education and picking up a trade. (hopefully computer / I.T technician)

  I'll probably be in this program for the next 6 months (possibly shorter or long depending on how fast I complete the program) and my internet usage will be pretty limited. 
 
 So except for U.S. holidays (that government employees would get days off), I will not be on the forums.
 
 
 
Also want to mention that this will most likely prevent me for assisting with the upcomming "Chimp Challenge" (or what ever the new name might be).
 
So I'll have to pass the torch on to someone else getting that all coordinated.

Mining anything is pretty much terrible unless you literally have thousands upon thousands of dollars to build a bunch of mining rigs. And if you do that, usually special electrical work has to be done in your house (especially if its older) because of the huge power draw.

I long for the day when I can order something and have it appear within an hour. I know there is eBayNOW and some other programs, but I want it widespread.

If we let them do this they might lower the caps or others might join in with there own data caps

Just now,  I read on Gigaom.com that comcast is putting a 300gb data for a majority of the plans. If you maxed your bandwidth all month on a 0.92 Mbps plan you would fill that 300gb! I'm also afraid that if we let this happen,  other issues will follow,  If you can try to switch to a different isp.

[Kind of an update]
 
Heh, here might just be the screen for the pc. If we find some good screen that fits in there it'll propably be it. And with flatscreen you can install sound system in it too
 

We're really good at finding sponsors to help us pay for things, and as an entitled "Internet-generation" kiddie I love free to view content and I wish all content could be free to view, so that's what I want to deliver.
 
With that said, we haven't been ashamed of asking for funding when we need it. That First Blood badge in your name directly helped us pay to continue developing, and we've got another campaign upcoming that will help us acquire the equipment and sets we need to start running a daily show as well as redesign the home page of the forum.
 
We may add regular contributions through the forum at some point like a monthly membership (of course you can still access the content for free if you wish) but that's still in the early stages right now.

That response is almost as good as the guy that gave the encryption key to the NSA printed out on paper.

That's right Google, stick it to the man! We need more people like this to stand up to the NSA and openly denounce them. Hopefully companies will band together to do something about the NSA.

Yes, could do something like that for LTT members that fold for the challenge...

Short article about a kid that hacked into the Montreal PD and other secure sites doing an estimated $60k in damages. I'm curious to see how this will play out.
